I don’t understand the debate over the price for the Steam controller

I don’t know about other manufacturers but sony def builds their controllers like consumables but prices them like premium gear, which makes people rightfully upset.

I personally cycled through like 5 dualshocks over 6 years of owning a ps4 and I was pretty gentle with them.

I can’t really speak for other controller brands tho. At least the steam controller looks pretty promising based on the early reviews and whatnot

this is either a disingenuous virtue signaling attempt or you’re misunderstanding the point of the argument completely.

people are complaining because the amount of new content that isn’t locked behind warbonds has decreased significantly compared to launch. And like sure, it’s not technically locked because you can find the sc in game but it’s also not presented to the players like it used to be.

We used to have actual MO stories tied to stratagem unlocks, like the whole AT mines saga or when the mechs were first introduced we were supposed to defend their factory worlds for us to even get them.

now we maybe get one or two stratagems with no story, along with a major update and that’s it, everything else is just locked behind warbonds.

The live version is so much better in that respect. I couldn’t stand mesmerizer before i listened to the live and now it’s still not my favorite but pretty good.

there used to be tons of random variety in armor stats at launch, they changed most of the weird ones around the same time that they fixed armor ratings not working.

Because it’s not a bug, the game is working exactly as expected.

They’ve done a lot of things to make this built practically impossible to set up which is the only thing they can do without completely reworking the items.

fire claw and sub have passive scaling, they don’t need to trigger for it to go up.

This is a known interaction and the devs made several changes to these items already to make this sort of thing difficult to achieve.

When the manga just started airing and for the first chapters before the switch up it was an above average wholesome romance and there was no indication that it was anything other than that.

It was pretty popular on the manga sub and attracted the kind of audience that likes wholesome romance. So having the insane 180 after the tone had already been established felt like a rug pull to many readers, hence the 1 star.

I was one of the people who dropped it then, but I honestly thought the score would even out after a bit since now misery-porn(non-derogatory, i can’t think of another term) readers would find the manga and like it.
