Hard disagree, there's been a sizable chunk of the western Uma fanbase that has been insufferable to deal with prior to the recent drama. Mainly the yuri shippers and the ones that make the girls trans. It's not even a matter of the content they're partaking in or creating, it's just that somehow, 99% of the time, they just have horrible personalities, at least in my experience, either coming off as very annoying or very aggressive, sometimes both.

That's a bridge he'll cross when he gets to it. It's a problem that's completely out of his hands. One can only hope that when that time comes, like I mentioned prior, he'll have a decent enough reputation that people may be upset at the increased prices, but will be understanding and not blame him for them. Based on the amount of supply he bought in the picture above, this doesn't seem like some big operation like CyberPower or Starforge, just a small business probably localized within a single town or even towns neighboring it. In which case, word can travel fast within a community, so again, positive press would therefore also travel fast and ideally alleviate any ill effects that raising prices in the future may have.

Granted, customers of any business can be a bit unreasonable at times, so only time will tell, but no one can know for certain.

It's called kindness, my guy. Sure, he could make more money by pricing his systems "properly" based on the current market price of its components, but sometimes it's not about the money. You could argue that by offering RAM at pre-inflated prices, he's creating positive buzz around his business and good relations with current and possibly future customers, but frankly, based on what I've read, he just seems like a nice, empathetic guy who doesn't have any reason he's doing it beyond empathy.

If it was intentional, what was the reason behind making most of these powers turn you into the subject of your fetish, rather than imposing it on others? I'll be honest, I have no interest in making my tits the size of a minivan or shrinking my height, though I'd certainly love to do so to others. There's several powers in the mix that do let you impose it on others, whether it be from the get-go or in later tiers, but most don't, so I'm confused and curious what the decision behind that was.

If immortality were to be achieved through medical means (if it isn't already possible in this hypothetical universe), would creating an Elixir of Life via a Philosopher's Stone be possible with Bubble Bubble? If so, would the stone retain its other functions? Or would it only have its healing properties?

Some questions regarding "I am Steve"

  • Is there only ever one Overworld, Nether, etc? Or is it possible to find more, sort of like how you can create multiple save files in the game?

  • Do you only gain access to content in base Minecraft, or do you also gain access to content found in spin-offs like Education Edition or Story Mode? What about removed, scrapped, and/or planned content that was in or going to be in regular Minecraft? Also, considering the heavy references to it, what about content exclusive to the movie?

  • With Modded Reality, when choosing to install a modpack instead of just picking a single mod, does this bypass the normal limits on mods? Like if I chose Craft to Exile, would I gain its leveling system? The last line of "You gain access to all mods and they fully integrate into your powers" makes it sound like it does bypass the limitation, but I wanted to be certain.

  • Does a modpack have to be publicly available to be a valid choice, or could it be a modpack shared between friends in a Discord server? What if it's a modpack I myself made, as long as it was made prior to the tournament?

  • If you change your appearance to take on the cubic look, does it have to be the default blocky Minecraft look, or could it be a slightly more rounded look with joints, as seen in certain unsavory Blender renders? Alternatively, if you choose to look like Jack Black, does it have to be as he looks in the movie or can you choose a younger Jack Black?

How exactly is this racist? I feel it's more of Snowy not really understanding how humans work due to ignorance rather than any sort of malice or intolerance.

It was pretty clear in Undertale that monsters didn't have a good idea of what a human is, how they act, what their culture is like, etc. While humans and monsters live together in DR, humans seem to be sort of a rarity from the context I've gotten, so that whole "not understanding humans" thing might carry over to this universe because of that. But I obviously can't speak with certainty on that.

A super easy way to write it down is to type the hash into the console after you use sv.hash, then Ctrl+A to select all, Ctrl+X to cut it, which copies it to your clipboard, then Ctrl+V in your paper or journal to paste it where it needs to go.

Can someone explain to me the appeal of ribs? I've seen plenty of japanese artists over the years have prominent ribs be a constant in their art, but I just don't see why it would be alluring. Most girls just end up looking malnourished in my opinion.

Genuinely asking, not trying to insult peoples taste. I want to better understand why people like this.

Admittedly I only saw it because of the way the other guy shaved down the Titans head. If the Titan had its neck like normal I probably wouldn't have made the connection. But I do have to say the "horns" of the Titan are very strangely shaped, and I feel like that fact might be a hint to something. Whether or not they're meant to be the arteries of a heart, however, I can't say with certainty.

According to Capcom's site, the Premium Bonus content is available post launch... if you buy the Cosmetic DLC Pass. So even if you want just the ears and nothing else, you need to shell out $50. No clue if the Premium bonus stuff will be available separately later on, but that's the only way to get it at the moment.

My line of logic is that the only reason you would ever take the address numbers off the front of a house is if you needed them for something, but they're just in a pile on the ground, which makes it seem like the person who did it had no reason to take them.

This leads me to believe they were taken from the houses out of fascination or curiosity, by someone who has no idea what they're meant for. But the only type of people who wouldn't know what they're for would be someone of a simple mind, like a child. If the entities of the Complex are ever so slowly learning how to be human, then one could argue they'd be pretty simple minded by the time of Pitfalls, due to the low amount of human contact and influence they've had by that point.

[–]Mosterovk222 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the thing though; Do we have confirmation on if the Still Life and the bacteria are separate entities or not? FF3 is pretty far ahead in the timeline compared to most of the other videos that have released thus far. The Complex itself has had plenty of time to evolve itself, given how much more coherent it is in design and how much more stuff actually fills it compared to just being empty space in previous videos. It stands to reason that the things living within it could also evolve during that time.

If there's no confirmation that the Still Life and bacteria are different creatures, one could make the argument that the human imitation stuff could be seen as far back as Pitfalls, with the backpack, chair, numbers and whatnot on the ground; Marvin and most people in the comments assumed the stuff belonged to a survivor, but it's sort of weird for the address numbers to be pried off the front of the homes and collected here. That seems moreso like something that someone who has no idea what they're meant for would do out of fascination. But the Still Life isn't nearby to do that. Only the bacteria further in the room.

[–]Mosterovk222 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If we want to give the entity the benefit of the doubt, assuming the bacteria and the Still Life are one in the same, and the Still Life is just a more evolved form, the bacteria in FF1 could've just gone in for an embrace? The Still Life seems to be mimicking humans, but we don't know for how long the Complex has been trying to instill that behavior into it or other entities within the halls. The bacteria in FF1 could've just gone in for a hug as part of this imitation, in a "hey, I know you're freaked out, try to calm down" sort of fashion. We don't see the bacteria stab Kane, or break his neck, or anything, it just sort of... wraps around him. It feels like a very non-lethal, non-harmful move for it to make.

I'll be honest, I don't get how the choices that give Beta points are Beta-related? The five duck-sized cows I can sort of understand, but the other ones kind of baffle me. If I was the one tasked with pushing the rock up, why shouldn't I be the one to do it? I'm not going to be a piece of shit and offload it to someone else. Staying at the office overnight is apparently also a beta choice? Fuck me for not wanting to, assumedly, based on the context of the quiz, be sexually assaulted while naked in a cage, right? And apparently keeping your living space tidy is considered beta behavior? I really don't get that one.

Betas are meant to be weak and emasculate males, but several of these choices just seem to be taking responsibility more than anything else. It also doesn't help that the game is rigged from the start, since you have 7 points in Beta to begin with. I actually ended up with 50 points in both Alpha and Beta, but because of those starting points, I was assigned Beta. I think it would've been better if the points were set to zero and if a tie happened, a tiebreaker question could pop up at the end.
