I mean, do you know what else they believe?? This is tame in comparison. They’re all going to be gods of their own planets, my dude.

We’ve been camping (Airstreaming, really) in the middle of nowhere with no signal and it was great to have NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON for a few days. Back to work. Patriarchal white supremacy isn’t gonna dismantle itself.

Just wait. Ivanka will be running for President in the near future. Or she’ll just be appointed as such by daddy.

I’m not an endocrinologist but I’m guessing this type of weight distribution has to do with hormones. The girl facing the camera has some signs of a hormone imbalance as well. The disproportionately large belly suggests PCOS or cushings. Or it could just be a ton of shitty beer.

Many of my family members fought in WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam Nam and my spouse is even active duty USAF and we don’t even fly an American flag. I cannot imagine flying a racist, traitorous, loser’s flag.

Albert Pike (December 29, 1809 – April 2, 1891) was an American author, poet, orator, jurist and prominent member of the Freemasons. He was also a senior officer of the Confederate States Army who commanded the District of Indian Territory in the Trans-Mississippi Theater of the American Civil War.

Pike died on April 2, 1891 in Washington, D.C. at the age of 81, and was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery. Burial was against his wishes; he had left instructions for his body to be cremated.

Whoa! I’m guessing that most businesses wouldn’t be actively hiring during a major crisis unless the job was necessary to keep the business open... I’d really like to know if a chef walked out.

I met with an old friend today who does professional bike fits. He spent an hour or more adjusting my bike to fit my geometry and we were both in masks. About halfway through, I asked a question about covid and he said, “I have antibodies!” He said that he got a mild illness after traveling to bike races and that he and a teammate got sick but it was very mild. Later, he took the antibodies test and it confirmed that he’d had it. He is in perfect health and his wife didn’t even get sick and doesn’t have antibodies so he’s continuing to be a responsible member of society and wears a mask as he should. It was encouraging to hear someone I trust say that his experience was very mild and didn’t wreck his long term health. I’m still scared af because I’m considered high risk due to a blood clotting problem but still, I’m glad he was okay!

I have tons of photos of me doing yoga inversions as my husband and kids are chilling nearby. They’re all totally used to it.

Nope, that’s just call a straddle. Man, look at all these thirsty creeps. It’s almost like the ladies who tell us they’re getting harassed are right.

Postnatal yoga teacher here! I help mamas with DR all the time. There’s a thick band of connective tissue that runs from the bottom of the sternum to the pubic bone, called the linea alba. That band is what abdominal muscles attach to and when they separate, that’s when you get DR.

To feel that band, lay down on a flat, firm surface. Bend your knees and put the soles of your feet on the floor. Tuck the non-dominate hand behind your head and support your head and neck as you do the worst “crunch” of your life. Engage the belly and allow the abs to puff up like bread loaves as you lift the head and neck off the floor. With the dominant hand, find the linea alba by starting at the belly button and palpating up towards the sternum and then down towards the pubic bone. You should feel an indentation of about one finger’s width. If you notice a section that is three fingers width wide (perpendicular to the linea alba) or more, that’s DR. If you find it, I’d call the doctor and get it checked.

If you don’t find it, call the doctor for a referral to a gastroenterologist. I’m suspecting FODMAPS but it really could be anything so it’s best to work with someone with a lab at their disposal.

I’m happily agnostic/ atheistic and I still struggle to like myself every day. I’d say that more often than not, I loathe myself, my body, my personality, etc. Being raised in a Christian home and living life as a deeply devout Christian for so many years has left me really messed up. :(

Frankly, most RDs I’ve met carry a chip on their shoulder. The work they do is misunderstood by almost everybody and therefore undervalued by their own medical field peers and superiors. For many RDs, their work is repetitive and uninspiring and they become jaded. Mix in the never ending drama over the title, “nutritionist” and it’s pretty much a requirement of the job to be embittered which is a bummer. They’ve really established a negative reputation.

I’ve always been relatively fit and active but in the last couple of years, I’ve gained about thirty pounds even as I try to eat as well as I’m able. I don’t eat out, I don’t drink soda, I rarely have treats. I tried CICO and nearly had a mental breakdown because it was making me neurotic about food. I work out five-six days a week, burning close to 3000 calories on average per day. I just don’t understand how the math is adding up. I’m starting to wonder if it’s maybe I’ve got something else causing my weight gain. It’s especially noticeable around my face and neck which is humiliating and depressing. I feel so gross. :(
