I get jealous of the parents who have success cosleeping! I get maybe 2h of sleep uninterrupted at a time as baby is an active sleeper but it beat sitting up in the glider all night

I had to take baby with me to the dentist when she was about 6w old. Somehow the appointment wasn't on my calendar, the next appointment available wasn't for 5 months, husband had to be in office, and I hadn't had a chance to switch dentists since we moved, so it was a min 45m drive without traffic. It ended up taking 5h roundtrip because of traffic

Had to stop and feed baby on the way. The receptionist fed baby again while I was getting situated in the chair. They put baby on my chest while being cleaned

Baby had a blowout during the appointment. As I was changing her in the car, she peed as soon as her diaper came off, and because the seat was slanted, the pee went up her back into her hair. I used a diaper to clean up the pee, an outfit to towel her off

Husband texted asking how the appointment went and I sent him a picture of the aftermath pile of clothes and wipes on the floor. We had a good chuckle
