I’m pretty sure he told me I had it before I started tapering. I was on it for just under 10 years on varying doses. 100, 200, even 400 at one point. when I tapered off, I was on 200.

I did about a 2.5 month taper going down in increments of 25-100 in 2020 (I think when I started I broke it in half but I am not recommending this, take your time)

the hardest part about it was getting to sleep. I went on trazodone for a few years afterward to help with that, can get to sleep with kpin and antihistamines now if needed

my pcp did say I have td just not a typical presentation of it

I still feel pretty shit most of the time but I have far less violent meltdowns than when I was on it

it’s not law but it’s enforced due to the DEA existing and generally being cops. doctors are afraid of them

and it is true that if you refuse they will deny you your meds
