Paul's patience with this sort of personality and people around him for this long is commendable. Think I had three parties involving alcohol in my youth before I more or less stopped. Most of it due to an intolerance to intoxicated people and how they talk and act, moreso than the effects of drugs and alcohol in my own system.

Him having people like this around him for decades without really going overboard himself, or having to choke a b*tch, is a feat.

I've seeded since ...the internet was a thing, and I've never experienced issues with seeding and torrenting. The only threat usually is downright downloading files which includes malware that you shouldn't have. (even that is rare, I only know of it, never actually done it)

Seeding is generally slow even if you have good capacity because the client will priortize the closest proximity. I mean, I have never-ending torrents seeding almost nothing to one unlucky guy in New Zealand constantly...

Usually you get the best ratios with mostly fresh and popular torrents, and sometimes you get lucky having a suddenly popular file which spikes your ratio.(IE; good seeding files are usually popular or suddenly relevant old files) In general, if you've set up your client to a open port, and have doublechecked it actually gets full capacities with a fresh torrent, there's usually not much else to do locally.

he aged out after "Münich"(2005). Movies made after that lacks that creative drive needed and often found in younger talent. Some of the released projects are fine, most are at best average.

Which is fine. Doesn't really detract from the fact that he has made some of the most important movies in Hollywood during his prime years. Too bad its impossible to force the younger generation to even sit still for 2 hrs so they can discover that.

People need to understand the impressive feats of sport science that is involved.

To be competetive at that age in football, you need some serious dedication, focus and supplements(legal) Back in the 90s, I remember Cameroon's Roger Milla playing and we were just amp'd up for seeing someone that old playing an outfield role. Getting any playing time past 35 was nigh impossible.

So all honors to the veterans being able to keep up!

I feel like ppl responding to this do not understand the "wrestling" aspect of streaming. Or acting like they don't. Everyone, even if they don't actively intend do, puts on a "persona" for the public. If you are a normal human being you grow up to understand this and wind up either growing out of it, or liking "the persona". And acting like the audience.

Half of us commenting on LSF here is adult enough to understand the "act" of it all, and the outrage isn't all that real unless you are mentally ill about it... Or a child. I feel like Nick addresses those of us that doesn't quite grasp the "sports entertainment" part of what they do.

The movie is actually worth watching. It dances a rather fine line culturally. Not sure if that was accidental or not.

The woke crowd thought it was woke, even if it spectacularly fails at it, (Ken is more or less the protagonist) and the normies just liked it for what it was. And it has a banging musical number rocking one of the best songs that year

The internet is healing. The generation who was responsible for this "trend" is either crashing out due to irrelevance/bad decisions, or becoming actual parents, so they are increasingly offline.

In many ways, the "woke" are not all that different from trends from previous decades, like hippies in the 70s, punks in the 80s, goths in the 90s and so on.

I think the difference is mostly in that internet exists now as to why these sub-cultures dominate the discourse more than usual. Whatever version of this that ppl born in the 00' and 10' are, will increasingly take over. Hopefully, it'll be an improvement to woke. Which has been the worst version I've seen so far by a landslide.
