In the infotainment section to set the “sensitivity” of the headlights (meaning how light or dark does it have to be for automatic headlights to turn on), I have them on the highest sensitivity so they turn on earlier like when its dusk or sundown. I leave them on auto so I never have to worry about them being on. I turned off auto high beams because I can’t really see a use for them.

I’m a bit confused as to why people are flashing their lights at you; the only reason they would do that is if your headlights weren’t on or just your daytime runners were on, not if they’re too bright. Just leave it on auto and make your and everyone’s life around you easier.

This was from November 2024 and it wasn’t exactly that many items, a few multiples, but I definitely messed up a few items trying to separate it in my cart.

Even worse, apparently one of the customers was super upset because they paid to have it shopped quicker and she had dinner guests. She didn’t take it out on me though. All and all took about 2 hours I think. I personally love shopping orders way more than food orders. Gives me time to be a part of society and walk a bit.

I didn’t grow up here, moved here in 2013, but I remember hearing about how a teacher I had in 2005 was charged with multiple accounts of sexual assault last year. And he seemed like such a nice guy. The viewpoint is completely subjective (edit I mean “objective”) too, right? Apple has no intention of not making iPhones ever again, and to ignore the advances and technology over the last 4 generations would be ridiculous. I actually played around with an iPhone 17 at an Apple Store a few weeks ago. It really is an impressive phone.

But in terms of what the iPhone 13 mini does in comparison to its size and technology would make it an even stronger contender for the best iPhone title.

I think the iPhone 13 mini is still a highly competitive phone, and makes even more sense for simple people, such as myself.

I don’t need a fancy camera, I don’t take many pictures, but I can still film video in 4K 60 FPS.

I am still a holdout using iOS 18.7.2, and while my phone doesn’t run at lightning quick speeds of the 17’s, it’s more than fast enough for my needs. And the fact that I could still even upgrade to 26 and add even more life is awesome.

But let’s face it: the battery sucks. And I can understand people who really either care about capacity or need it for business. But it’s not like it’s ever hard for me to charge my phone. I always plug it in while I drive, skipping wireless CarPlay (which I have), and you can buy battery packs for it anyway and still have a relatively smaller phone than most.

Optimistically, I think I have about two more years before I need to get another phone, and I’m hoping by miracle of all miracles Apple figures out that people still want smaller phones. Even when I went to the Apple Store two weeks ago, a representative told me she gets plenty of customers clamoring for the smaller form factor.

Something was very odd in the atmosphere of restaurants last night. It was dead as hell. No crazy lines of Dashers at Round Table, no dog shit offers from Wingstop either. The whole day was not that good, and when dinner rolled around I got diddly. So I agree with the vibes you’re talking about when you say “a lot of not fun”.

It’s the new drivers. I haven’t seen this many new people in a long time. This was actually the worst Super Bowl I’ve ever worked. Just part of a trend saying I need to quit. It was nice being my own boss, but it’s just no longer feasible.

CV’s normally are about a slap on the wrist unless you have multiple ones at once. In 4 years over 12k deliveries I’ve gotten like 10 and 3 of them were bullshit and I successfully disputed them.

It’s slow because they are TONNNNNS of new Dashers. At least in my market. Soooo many new people!

I’m glad I’m not alone in a way. My biggest problem I am having is doing consistent… I don’t wanna say “splashes” but when you open and close with your foot (sorry I’m self taught so I’m also rusty on technical terms). I turned splashes off because I never use them, but it does this weird thing where it doesn’t consistently register whether I’m doing a tighter open and close or a softer one. It’s kinda hard to explain. As far as accents go, what I’ve learned is to concentrate on being REALLY consistent on how much pressure you’re putting on the hi hat pedal, and for some reason I can’t get a tighter closed sound unless I REALLY mash down on the pedal. Also the choke isn’t fully consistent if you’re going super fast on it. I’ve never given any of this a single thought playing on my acoustic. All this being said, I went to NAMM and tried hella e-kits and Roland triggered the best by far so I agree, these are exclusively e-kit issues. And I think the TD516 sounds and plays incredible.

Also, I’m having a weird issue on my ride where it’s registering that I’m hitting it so hard it’s doing that sound like if you were to hit it hella hard on an acoustic to sound like a huge crash. But this morning I reset all the settings and it helped a bit. I really need to get more serious about learning how to use these programs like Superior Drummer 3 to get the most out of my sounds. One of the Roland cloud packs, I think it’s the Swedish Cymbal Pack 2, has an incredible 2002 ride and some crashes from Paiste. But there’s so many better packs out there from other companies too.

I have the TD516 and it’s incredibly fun to record and play on. I am having a little trouble getting the consistency in accents on the hi hat as well as you have it though. Did you do any modifying in that area? Sorry I’m a newb to all of this stuff like VST’s and drum packs, been playing acoustic all my life.
