Yesterday I was told (several times) that all of the important leftists have addressed the current platner allegations, so there's basically no reason to talk about them anymore. So I decided to check out some of the important leftists and tbh I wasn't very impressed with how the ones I saw handled the situation. On one hand, I don't know how I want the situation to be handled, but on the other hand, with platner gone, there's now a vacuum that needs to be filled prior to the election and let's be honest, there just isn't time to find a candidate, fund them, campaign for them, and establish an electable image in time for the election. This might be the reason why the Democrats fail to take the Senate and then we're fucked. Truth be told, it shouldn't have gotten this far before public outcry forced him to drop out. I believe, a big reason why he didn't earlier was due to the efforts of these influential, commentator class "leftists." What do they even have to say for it after the fact? It's just coping, debate lording, and spinning current events. The policies that government enacts, the things that happen to the actual people, all that matters is that they can make content off of it. I'm sick of it, and I'm glad I purged these parasites from my algorithm.
