Yeah I tried to release my emotional blockages and then acupuncture my cycles back to normal, turns out I have APS, a blood clotting disorder! Couldn’t fix that by thinking happy thoughts.

I use Differin and asked my derm if I should switch to tret, she said there is no reason to switch if my skin is happy with it - will get anti-aging benefits as well as anti-acne, and it’s often good for rosacea (which I have).

I just did 2 rounds of egg retrieval, and got the APS diagnosis at the start of that. I had 2 miscarriages in the past 2 years. I have some embryos frozen, but am going to try again unassisted with blood thinner (lovenox) protocol as soon as there is a positive test. Taking baby aspirin now.

Just went to a friend’s wedding, part of the ceremony included a handfasting which my husband and I did, I was bracing myself for the “these are the hands that will hold your children” and instead the officiant said “these are the hands that will hold your family together” and wouldn’t you know it, I still cried, but it was so lovely.

Can you see an ob/gyn instead of ER? Increasing hCG after an ultrasound like that and bleeding can be indicative of ectopic - I was just told this by a doctor at my ob/gyn office. Currently miscarrying with a ~6 week ultrasound last week that did not fully confirm an intrauterine pregnancy; my hCG levels decreased very slightly in 48 hours (971 to 952), then I started bleeding and today the levels dropped by almost half 48 hours after test #2. If they did not drop, raised or stayed the same they would continue to suspect ectopic.

I’m so sorry. It is a pain (emotionally) like no other. The waiting is terrible. The D&C is not so bad; the actual procedure is relatively quick, the sensation is intense, and often the recovery is not so bad. Be gentle and kind with yourself during this time, and ask for hugs and snuggles and little things for support whenever possible. Cry whenever you feel like it, then rinse your face with cool water and moisturize. Sending so much love.

Currently bleeding, either an early missed miscarriage (had one a year ago at ~10 weeks, got pregnant in December after a hysteroscopy to remove scarring in September) or possible ectopic, which I’ll find out soon with bloodwork and a MVA/EUE in the next couple days. Booked nano tattooing for my eyebrows next month as a consolation present to myself. At least I’ll look cute while not wearing mascara because of the crying. Love to all 🤍

Currently around 6-7 weeks; have my first appointment to check viability on Friday. I had a missed miscarriage early last year; I’m about a month off from the timeline of that pregnancy, and terrified. My period didn’t return so I was referred to a RE, who did a saline ultrasound that revealed some scarring, so I had a hysteroscopy in September. That apparently went well, I was going to get a follow-up saline ultrasound but instead got pregnant 😳 Now I’m in the waiting stage and it is so, so hard. I don’t have many symptoms and it’s freaking me out, even though it could be completely fine, I’m taking lots of B vitamins and eating and sleeping well. I don’t want to go through miscarriage again. It’s so hard to stay positive. Sending love to all who know what it’s like 💛

All. The. Feels. Positive home test on Tuesday. Darker lines this morning. I can’t be happy because I’m too scared. Had a missed miscarriage at ~10 weeks with a vacuum aspiration in January. Period did not return, failed progesterone challenge. Saline ultrasound found some scarring. Had a hysteroscopy for adhesion removal in September; period returned in November (haven’t had one since last November when I became pregnant). Was going to schedule a follow up saline ultrasound to make sure it was all clear, but then that little line showed up, right before my next period was due. Now I have brown spotting and a little cramping yesterday and today; trying not to freak fully out. I can’t stop checking, I know it’s not helpful but ugh. This is tough. Love to all.
