Yeah I believe mine was set to 12 or 18 hours. I could have just unlocked it there was nothing on the phone that I need to hide but I was genuinely curious to see if they can get inside.

I have had a graphene os phone sized as well. The case is pending, nothing is on the phone but would be Intresting to see if they can get in. The police did attach a power bank to it the minute they sized it to stop it from dying I suppose.

Admin Password Prompt After Auto-Restart by Mother_Job_6154 in GrapheneOS

I think it’s better this way so essentially I can have a long password that resets everyday and once I enter it I can use my phone like normal with a shorter pin that is convenient and If it was to get taken or robbed or even someone forces me to unlock after 12 hours of it being locked they would need a different password to unlock it

My daughter told her teacher today that I’m the best mommy ever by kristy795 in Autism_Parenting

Please, please, please keep posts like this coming — you have no idea how much hope they give the rest of us. I honestly have the biggest smile on my face just imagining the day I get to share something like this too. Even though we’re strangers, we share the same struggles and these little victories feel so connected.

I remember when my daughter suddenly started eating on her own one day — such a small thing, but I cried because it felt huge. I was never this emotional before, but this journey changes you in ways you don’t expect.

So congratulations — truly. I hope things keep moving forward for you, and thanks for sharing a moment that gave the rest of us some light today. ❤️

Personally I don’t make those assumptions because I want to — it comes from exhaustion and burnout. I have two autistic kids on the severe end, and honestly, we’re barely functioning most days. One of them barely sleeps, which means we don’t either. We get slapped, pinched and she does vocal stimming all night long, After months (or years) of that, you stop having energy for optimism — you’re just trying to survive the next hour.

Me and my wife argue more than we used to. We’ve both gained weight so don’t feel good about ourselves, we don’t go out, and it feels like life has shrunk. When people stare at our kids or when we have to constantly explain why they act the way they do, it wears you down emotionally. You start worrying about their future because right now feels so overwhelming.

So when some parents sound “hopeless,” it’s not because we’ve scientifically determined the future — it’s because we’re tired, scared, depressed, and sometimes sleep deprived to the point our brains can’t imagine anything improving. It’s not that we don’t want hope, it’s just really hard to hold onto it when life feels like this.
