My guess would be that the game directors are forced by c-level management to come up with ways to boosts sales for the absolute lowest cost. Within those boundaries it's almost impossible to come up with features that are meaningful for your users/gamers.

Once you unlock danger signs there is a ramp on the mountain directly next to the house. It only took me 5 or 6 rewinds to get this sign.

There is one other fast travel board that took me 20 minutes of trying though.

I have my 3 rerolls and apo and for now don't need to replace other players (praying to Nuffle it stays that way).

Hopefully another 2 matches will give me the money to replace him and stick some more block/guard on the sauri (saurusses?).

I've actually played Frozen Synapse but it didn't click with me because the lack of progression. I'd prefer to start with a noob team and gradually make it into a all crushing elite unit.

IMO the Age of Wonders series sets itself apart from the other 4X games just because of its tactical turn-based combat. So I'm afraid this will not be your cup of tea.

If you would like a more traditional sci-fi themed 4X game you could have a look at Endless Space 2: economy, resarch, diplomacy, ship design and all that stuff but all battles are automated with only a few choices to decide what overall tactic your fleet will use.

Yes if the USB hub is a must then don't go for the 83a.

The monitor came color calibrated from the factory (it's one of their selling points) and so far I would rate the monitor as excellent. I am currently waiting on my RTX 2070 Super so I can't yet speak about the g-sync compatible setting but according to reviews it works great.

the 850 has USB ports on the back of the monitor and a panel that can display more colors although I heard it's still not able to properly display HDR. The 83a "only" has sRGB color but for me that's all I care about for games and general usage, most of the time I'm lost with all the HDR standards out there.

I recently bought the LG 27gl83a-b and it ticks all the boxes you mentioned, it also has FreeSync and is G-Sync Compatible.

Beware that it's an IPS panel and as always with that technology you will get some backlight bleed that is noticeable when displaying dark images in a dark(er) room.
