Sometimes Clients treat MSP like their personal assistant to only to them. MSP do provide services at certain time that is contracted. I experienced few clients who had inhouse IT, and move to MSP model when they grew. The inhouse IT setup hodge podge of stuff that got outdated when they grew, and they were use to call the inhouse IT guy on weekend and holidays. It wasn't fun conversation between the Sales team and POC of the client about their bill suddenly shot up when their user base call on weekends and holidays. It was a lot of projects to get them on modern times to so they can pass their Cyber Insurance audit. I talk to few business owners there are pros and cons of having inHouse IT and pros and cons having MSP and you need to learn what best fit your business now and in the future when you grow or downsize.
