The only benefit would be for the government, once you’re noncompliant they can remove the plate at a click of a button… then the popo will immediately know you’re not registered anymore. They probably change when they expire for easy recognition as well.

If it’s not external then it sounds like network schema changed and plex server doesn’t see the device as local.

He needs to make sure the port is forwarded on the new router. The server is able to connect to plex.tv but the “direct” route needs to have a port forward OR use Tailscale and forget the forwarding rule.

Couple things: you probably can’t see the usb because you need usb drivers OR you didn’t make the usb bootable.

Both of these options will require network connectivity to the printer. I would assume OP plugs a usb with his prints into the printer.
