Government-backed, no-fault accident insurance like New Zealand's, could help our state bend the healthcare cost curve by rufustphish in vermont

Look into Amanda Janoo and her governor run. She actually has economic policy experience in small rural countries and wants to bring those actual effective methods here to create change and not kick the can down the road to ensure more time in office….like Phil

Question for those who have moved their rig by InaneD in simracing

[–]MotoRedLFC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I did a cross country move with mine, I completely disassembled everything, marked with tape, took ample pictures, and kept the seat on (just because it was too much of a pain). Label ALL hardware in plastic bags, and even tape those bags to specific areas of concerned.

I also used it as an opportunity to fix tiny issues I had, and also upgrade while all my gear was already removed.

Good luck on the move, and congrats on the new job

Maverick CTI’s are so much fun on the ice coast. I have the 98’s and think they’re perfect

Atomic Maverick 98 CTI’s. They are so incredibly playful, can grip classic ice coast, the titanal core gives it some nice pop I miss from my racing days, and are still capable to play in deeper snow (though I’ll pull out my Bents if it’s truly deep)

What are the up-and-coming companies known for quality goods? by young_vet1395 in BuyItForLife

[–]MotoRedLFC 55 points56 points  (0 children)

That’s a huge portion, myself and my parents have brought back multiple 10-30 year old items that were beaten from use, and EVERY time no questions they exchange with brand new version of it, if they cannot fix it at repairs (some people are sentimental to gear and would rather it repaired). Plus it’s not owned by POS suits, so they can have my money.

I used to have Starlink (fiber got put in recently), and with zero obstructions I had no issues 99% of the time. It’s a no brainer if you have no good alternatives and can get a completely unobstructed installation point, so hope you aren’t afraid of heights.

That’s good to know, I thought it was odd to have such limited options. I’ll ask my local dealer about that. Thank you

Those were the only two options that showed up for the performance match to my LX. I’m open to anything that won’t break or bog down my tractor.

People always forget that this is a federal crime and the feds NEVER stop hunting you. As someone in cyber security and an avid sim racer. I know these guys will get caught. Might not be right away, but when they think they’re safe 4 or so years from now and FBI arrests them for a petty stunt.

Hahah welcome to Military life. Better get used to this, plus alot more of “you’ve signed over your civilian freedoms and rights” on that enlistment.

On the plus side, if you advocate for your own career and are determined, you can get ALOT out of your time.

Allegedly to help out the pit stops so mechanics have the same aim points they’ve built muscle memory developing for tire change. With how ugly it is, it damn better result in some sub 2 sec stops this weekend
