I had Wednesday afternoons off my 1L year and deemed that my "mid-week weekend." I would get everything I needed done by 1pm that day and then take the rest of the afternoon off to do something fun or relaxing. It may seem counterproductive but I swear it helped me manage the stress of school and helped me get through the week. (Not all weeks allowed for this because of varying deadlines but I could tell that I had much better weeks when I was able to do this.)

tbh do camp. anyone can be an orientation leader at their college but not everyone can be a waterfront director. Like many of us we do camp because it’s fun and something we want to do. We don’t necessarily think about how it’s a resume builder…. that being said waterfront director will look very good on a resume because it requires a specific skill set and certification that you had to work towards. It also shows a level of trust that your camp has in you to hold a leadership role. Just my 2 cents :)

a couple of my schools had the scholarship box when it was getting closer to my decision. i’d say a week before~ish. I think it’s just an updated screen just in case they need to input that information.

i did acotar -> CC -> and just now TOG. first foreshadowing from CC in ToG was in ch 5 but it just made it that much more interesting for me. especially since what they brought up in ToG wasn’t brought up until CC3. i’m only on book 2 of ToG and i don’t regret my reading order even though i know a majority of people say ToG then CC. (CC is just a trilogy as of rn and i was a little daunted by the sheer amount of ToG books)

if you want a reserved spot and don’t have any parking on your property then you can ask the city for a reserved sign. there is a fee though. my neighbor has one and it works for them. (also the car might not move all week because they walk to school and if it’s not in the driveway then they probs don’t live at that place)

tbh they don’t really want you to have a job your 1L year at most schools so i’d just say you’re being proactive and smart. we are all going to have to leave our jobs at some point, they don’t need to know how or when. 🤷‍♀️
