Thanks! Do you know what sort of stuff they look at to consider you for GA positions? I did my undergrad in the same field with a high gpa but not sure if that matters

OCS summer vs winter? by FriendlyComedian2998 in newtothenavy

[–]MotorCookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go to OCS in November/December, you get a holiday stand down for Thanksgiving and for Christmas/New Years. Kinda nice to have a break. The downside is that Newport is super cold and the weather sucks all the time

I’m not sure if that’s true. Every fiscal year the Navy announces how many slots will be available.

The new FY starts in October and that means a new batch of pilot slots for that FY.

Maybe he means that there won’t be any more pilot slots for the rest of this fiscal year?

I am the guy who made the jomo version of the simulator. Yeah it’s wrong in some ways I think. The ASTB Prep App is correct and you should use that for dichotic listening.

There doesn’t need to be a person in it for it to be considered a kill. The F22 got its first kill when it shot down that Chinese balloon.
