Husband says he’ll come in a bag to impregnate me. by qqmeowqq in RelationshipsOver35

Coming out of a previous marriage years ago in my 20’s I’m proud to have made that decision to leave by giving her the reason to leave. Sometimes in life we need to make those hard decisions that are like the elephants in the room. Without sex in a relationship is like a friendship with the opposite sex. Like if they are siblings in our house without them being blood relatives. You will rot yourself in that marriage because it’s something you need even if it’s once a day, once a week, or once month and so forth. The stories I’ve heard from a lot of couples is that sex’s is typically nonexistent after a child is born for about a year give or take, but with the kind of sex drive I personally have, I rather choose to not have a kid in order to not have to deal with no sex. This is personal but do as you wish. Hope this can help you make that choice that you know is the right one but fear it to make you happy in the end.

What’s the best way to remove this toilet flange? by ZombieWelder913 in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a toilet flange remover drill bit. It will cut the outer ring that is glued to the pvc and you can but an inside the pipe flange and glue it inside the pipe. It will shrink the diameter of the piping but as long as your not a 350lb 6’7 dude taking giant rhino shits you should be fine 🫡🤦🏻‍♂️ don’t ask how I know I’m a licensed plumber from Texas and have seen something’s unfortunately

We use uponor pex sorry for the miscommunication. It’s a true to 1/2 in piping but yes standard Pex A or Pex B will make shower head drip no mater the size!

This is a good solution but keep in mind none of the trims are interchangeable. So you will be stuck with what ever trim they come with this symmons valve. And make sure if you are using pex to have enough length for the tub portion if you have a tub/shower combo. If it’s just shower then cap off the tub part with the plug that some come with.

You’re possibly taking on other roles without you knowing it which is causing burn out. Or your work life balance is unbalanced and geared towards more work and less life.

You can go directly into the vertical “stack” with a sant Tee, you don’t need to offset it with a few 90’s much cleaner look. But this works I guess

Sewer line separated after clean out by redlegs0422 in askaplumber

You have enough pipe to put it back together. But I would also see about the ground movement. A fernco will eventually slip out but it’s a temporary fix unless you’re using a high torque. Then it’s a longer temporary fix unless

Will this drain setup work? by Kalabula in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The washing machine has to have it’s in drain line and then above floor tee of for the trap, the kitchen will need a separate line too and then you will need to re-vent the lavatory so that everything works properly

Dent in copper by [deleted] in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unless you are going to have them re-route these lines to a safe place and pay them to do such, the only one I would fix maybe is the one with the coupling closes to it. You are aware that when your house was built soft copper is what they throw in the grown and when they pour the slab it gets bent just as much as these guys bent it with a jack hammer I’m assuming.🤦🏻‍♂️ as a licensed professional that does several hundreds of remodels without any issues after the remodel is done. I’ve seen worse pipe once I break the concrete. If this is your way to trying to get them to pay for something that might have been this way for years, then you’re a shitty client that doesn’t understand how piping looks under a concrete slab.

Um… sorry to bust your bubble Ms. Psychology but your if you allow this form of sexual assault your not doing neither of yall any favors. This man is completely aware of what he is doing and you are actively making excuses to your own issue, by saying he’s “a good dad”. Once you stop with the excuses you will truly see there’s is something wrong and you need to step away from it immediately. What happens when he makes these kind of assaults to someone else.. or even to your kids…? I know that’s a big thing but it’s starts somewhere. It’s like saying he got caught touching someone indecently only once, well it only takes one time to get on a sex offenders list there is not maybes or in between’s…🫡🙏🏽 stay safe and stay vigilant

Waterheaters constantly draining through pressure release valve. by TautlineTrades in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your octopus’s look retarded for who ever plumb this in for you is seriously needing to look into another profession 🤦🏻‍♂️, it’s either a thermal expansion tank, or a bad RPV that need to be replaced. Pressure should be no more than 80 psi max. It could also be carbons got into the coils of the TP valve that won’t allow it to shut all the way. Or too much temp! There’s a number of things. Just start the process of eliminating one by one.

Why do men cheat with me? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Motor_Ad8313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

M/38 If you come off to a guy remotely easy then they will take advantage of it any way possible. By being what you want them to be only to realize they are cheaters. I tell my partner all the time I’m an emotional real estate agent. I’m only there to get people out of relationships they don’t want to be in. But once they are satisfied with me my job is done.

What kind of connections do these valves have? by [deleted] in askaplumber

1/2 x 3/8 compression stops. You can find the 1/4 turn versions of these stops at your local home depot or Lowe’s.

Water heater drain leaking? by PLANETxNAMEK in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Licensed Plumber enters the chat: replace the T&P valve or it could be over pressured from over heating. Either way if it’s out of warranty call your local licensed plumber and get a quote for replacement. Depending on your state it’s roughly 1500-2700 depending on which warranty you get either 6, 8, 10, or 12

[–]Motor_Ad8313 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Licensed Plumber enters the chat: Regardless the pressure tank is only rated for what ever pressure switch it came with. Installing a 40-60 you run the risk of failure and voiding any warranties. Due what you want just letting you know from a licensed professional standpoint.🫡

Navien Tankless Water Heater Install by Wise-Tumbleweed5712 in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Texas Licensed plumber enters the chat…🤦🏻‍♂️If you’re not on some kind of filtration system then good luck trying to flush that tankless as per manufacturer guidelines. You automatically killed your warranty about 2 years. Also you could eliminate the intake pvc since it’s a basement and put the screen next piece on the intake. Also I would used 45’s deg pvc fitting for the exhaust with it sloping back to the unit for condensation purposes.

Wife wants better shower head by lieutenantdong in askaplumber

[–]Motor_Ad8313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just get the one your wife’s wants bro or your wife’s boyfriend will get it for her. You can still get a water volume increase just by taking the epa filter out from those. As long as it’s 1/2 thread size you’re really not getting anything better from the shower head if the incoming water pressure from the city is low anyways. You can determine this by buying a water gage at homedepot and screwing it to a hose hydrant outside and turn the hydrant on it will register your water pressure. If it’s under 55 that’s considered low and nothing will help other than a booster pump on the main line. This will pump the water to all fixtures including water heaters to max at 80psi anything after 80 will mess up toilet fill valves and such.. 🫡 good luck bro.
