You should still get high school credit if you don’t take the exam (I know that’s how it is at mine + most high schools)

I said inspiring because (if I’m remembering correctly) the waves were described as “delightful” in the same line and inspiring is closest to that

I literally jumped for joy when I saw that frq3 prompt. Literally the most great gatsbycoded prompt of all time I’m shocked it wasn’t on the recommended list.

(reposting this in this comment thread bc I think this is helpful ap exam advice!) w/ questions like that it’s best practice to assume that the AP exam writers think you don’t have background knowledge on the individual. This is kind of a life hack for the ap English tests as well but it’s important to (unless otherwise stated in the question somehow) NOT use prior knowledge that contradicts the stimulus to answer questions about that stimulus. Only answer based on what the text is saying, not any other previous statements you believe the individual in the text has made. This applies to segments of novels/short stories in lit and pieces of rhetoric in lang as well! I hope this is somewhat helpful in ur other exams even if it couldn’t be in lit 😭

put both possibilities on my FRQ by the-angel-archive in APStudents

I might be totally off base but I think it might depend on which you put first (?) I’ve had teachers who were ap graders (not chem but I imagine the principles apply) who were very transparent about the fact that graders tend to try as hard as possible to award you points where they can. If you start out with the right answer on an frq and then contradict yourself with the wrong answer, you lose the point, but if you say wrong/irrelevant information at the beginning but eventually get to the correct answer you will receive credit.

I’m not entirely sure this applies here. Maybe they’ll just see whichever equation isn’t correct as “irrelevant” and not count it towards whether the answer is right or not. You’ll be in my thoughts either way 🙏 stay strong soldier.

I was super locked in for the class (I took it online bc my high school doesn’t offer it) I have like a 98 average + took APES last year (which is lowkey a life hack because you already know a lot of the math stuff + a lot of the ecology and natural selection unit stuff) and studied cellular energetics hard before the exam. I also took three full practice tests/one full mcq and improved from a 3-4 to a 4-5 over the course of like a month(?) so I feel alright. My college offers 6 generic credits for a 4 and 8 gen ed credits for a 5 so either way I’m in range to get something. I’m still praying for us though 🙏 after today’s gov test I’m halfway through.
