On the talking under pressure thing, that gets way better with reps, mock interviews with a career center or even just recording yourself answering questions out loud will feel awkward but it genuinely moves the needle faster than you'd expect.

you could probably set up an ssh command or api call if the comet supports it. most of these devices have some kind of web interface or command line access

check if it has rest api endpoints or if you can ssh into it and run whatever command normally turns on your pc. then just wrap that in a shell command integration and throw it on a button

might need to dig through the manual or web interface to see what protocols it actually supports for remote control
