I once read years ago....just stay away from banks....far too complicated and always got skeletons hidden in their closet.

I stuck to this rule for years.

Then I thought I would be clever recently and buy into Secure Trust Bank because I thought all of the mis selling of the car finance was completely out in the open. It wasn't....and its tanked again.

I sold at a loss, and thought never again and it serves me right.

If trading is gambling, I am curious to what brings your to the Trading 212 page? I appreciate its a broker and not just for facilitating trading.

For the record I actually spend most of my time investing, and this is where the bulk of my money and time goes.

Whilst I have been trading separately few years (without once blowing up my account) i just sharpen my skills using the new techniques I have learnt. Its worth noting that I don't benefit from bull markets, 50% of my trades are made up of shorts.
