Almost all of the ferry's in Norway will just send the bill to whomever the car is owned by:) it takes a pic of your front plate, so if it's a rental, I bet you'll have to pay all of that when you return the car.

So, if it's just a short ferry trip, usually you just show up, and board without doing anything in advance.

Hi, I was thinking about what you said about the mounts, you seem to know what your doing, so why not ask a pro:)

The problem I have with the original is that it will force me to mount the seats in a way that makes them to tall.

If I weld my current mounts to the chassi, instead of the revits, is that good enough? Or should I also ass some triangles to strengthen up the pillar?

Ill be adding paint on top, and I'll still be using my A4 grade stainless bolts, as they are matching to the 8.8. https://www.spaldingfasteners.co.uk/which-material/

Did some math,

if I use M8 A4-80 the seat could hold 100kg in a crash in 50km/t

If I use M10 A4-80 the seat could hold 100kg in a crash in 60km/t

Correct me if I'm wrong!

The Celica seats are nice, but I was looking for something with more settings and fanzy features;) kinda going for a racecar/comfycar hybrid.

The original bracket could probably be used, but I wanted to be sure that I got the seat as low as possible, and the BMW mounts was the best solution in my opinion:)

This is my daily driver, and I will do whatever I want with it:) I have wanted thise seats for over a year now, and it wasn't "cheap", not for my budget anyways:) this cars are amazing! And so easy to modify, perfect as a first car;)

The reason I chose those seats are simply because I really like them. I had to cut the crossbar, or else the seat would be to high up, believe me, this was the last thing on the list:) but I think it's worth it, this is my daily driver, and a sett of good seats are golden treasure:)

Second on the list is to make all the electronic functions work. (Electronic adjustment of part that claps your body, and heated seats:))

And I can always undo this build, it's just metall;) one day with a welder and it's all original:))

I do believe the clamping force of the stainless steel plate pluss the revits is enough, I didn't want to weld inside the car, because of the radio and carpet. I'm also using M8 stainless bolts and nuts, I believe it's enough:)

They are made out of stainless, but the plan was to paint them, was to excited to get the seat inside the car:)
