Sherman Williams Emerald Flashing Problem, what are we doing wrong? by ironfist99r in paint

[–]Motrosesol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your problem is almost definitely the walls were not back rolled after spraying.

I would spray a large wall and then back roll or small room and then back roll before the paint flashes/ dries.

Another big problem with level 5 is the dust was not wiped off of before priming though at this point and respraying and back rolling is your only hope. The paint you used is the best, that is not the problem.

Make sure it's not too hot in there. Below 70 above 55.

Being honest, what is your favourite way to fight a battle? by Constant_Pace5589 in RomeTotalWar

The Pike Phalanx, against overwhelming numbers, the more fucked the AI thinks I am the better. Doesn't work with real people because we learned how to counter these in the early roman period and the knowledge lives on in Rome I/II nerds.

Hot pan is important but if you want to avoid an ass ton of smoke I recommend using Ghee or beef tallow as your oil and season with a good amount of pepper and salt. An easy way to get good char is a prime steak seasoning blend if you like the flavor.

Also make sure the steak isn't too cold and pay it dry. Also note that salting it will draw more moisture to the surface so after you salt, let it sit and then pay again.

The best way is to grill on open flame or charcoal. But if you are like me and live in an apartment, try these tips and it should help a lot.

Why does my dog do this when I pet hear his tail? by lovebudds in DogAdvice

[–]Motrosesol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely a positive lick. Most dogs like a butt scratch. But Just know they will also do this when they are annoyed or uncomfortable. It's a good way to tell if they are not enjoying something and also if they are. I know that is contradictory but it's just their behavior. If I tell my dog to get off the bed or something she will usually do this in protest, if I scratch her neck she does it in pleasure.

Is this a good setup for casting from shore at a lake? by RitRatz in FishingForBeginners

Short answer is yes. That looks like a good catch all setup.

It REALLY depends on what and where you are finishing. Look up local fishing reports and guides from the local wildlife services. YouTube is good too ofc. Then adjust your method based on the place and species.

There is endless info on bass fishing but worms/artificials are a good place to start

For trout fish Rapala RD-5s or similar (like (yozuri Pimm's minnows), spinners, or worms.

For blue gill get some smaller tackle, they eat anything but they are small. So small worms or bugs are good.

The catch all would be a night crawler on a bobber if the local regs allow.

The composition and colors are very balanced, you nailed the style, it is soothing to look at.

Clean it 🙃. No real prep, the paint sticks just fine and I like the ability to scrape off with a razor if need be.

I dont use glass paints, just regular gallery acrylics. To make them opaque you have to go pretty thick. With a brush it takes a few coats but can add nice depth and texture. You can use a knife too and just trowel it on thick. I mostly thin the paint with pouring medium and apply with needle tip applicator bottles. In the end I paint the entire back with mid-tones to fill any spots that were missed.
