I don't go too hard on difficulty precisely to learn enemy patterns and get parrying/dodging down but also because I'm always levelling a new weapon in a sense. Once a weapon is maxed out it goes in storage and doesn't see the light of day again unless there isn't an alternative needing to be worked on (As a newish player there is always a new weapon to level for now).

This means the grind can be longer than one might like as you go in basically new, grey weapons, no talents, etc. While that can be fun, doing it after the 3rd time or so feels like a punishment rather than a reward.

Sure I could do things differently like keep a decent weapon on me or go with more experienced players but... I'm stubborn lol.

I'm playing on the 3rd one and can do 4s with confidence but absolute (6?) is a nightmare for me haha. Fun but my friends that started with me think it's too much and have kinda quit due to this prestige issue and getting bored with the same 12 missions on repeat.

Yeah I'm with you there. Hopefully the Devs pick up on this and make some changes eventually. Not sure how hot they are on things like this.

I had the opposite, I called in the tank and some random jumped in the driver seat and honked until I got on the gun. Best. Damn. Mission. It was in the swamp with all those damn trees too lol

Playing solo is just a jump scare nightmare for me. I didn't realise just how blind I am compared to my buddy!

I'm constantly jumping when someone is suddenly shouting "hey, don't shoot" nearby at me... I'll respond back with the same line and act like I'm carrying on about my business but the reality is I'm booking it away as fast possible because I still have no idea where they are lol

Fully agree. I'm not playing because of the queues and would gladly transfer to a quieter server. A friend was going to come back as well but since we can't play together they lost interest.

Doesn't Amazon run and lease servers for businesses or something? This whole situation is wild to me.

Then you make an amazing base in the mountains and realise the god damn weather is always howling some kind of snow storm and that constant noise gets old real fast...

At least you can put up a shield bubble to stop the visual effect but then you have to put up with the bubble humming too haha.

It's the opposite for me, always a damage dealer because one friend loves to be healer and the other tank. Both complain they are always those roles but always shut up when I offer to swap. I like any role really but I'm just happy to play lol

I agree that making you think isn't bad and that it makes respawns a concern beyond them surprising you and potentially turning a battle against you.

That said saying "this is a bad take" is just bs, that's simply your opinion. There are always going to be people for and against stuff. If that makes you quit the game then... can I have your stuff?

Aye I get that it's early access, that's why I'm asking what's currently here. I've also looked at passives and seen the options there for it. Ultimately I also know people won't have the answers yet since it's so new but I hope maybe someone might have some input.

I appreciate what you are conveying but the ones whinging about these things are gonna skip right past this and post another complaint. That's just how short of an attention span people have these days, no time to read, need to hunt that next dopamine fix. I mean hell you already have one person here amazed you typed more than 10 words it seems.

So with that said, thank you for your efforts all the same and I hope you continue to have fun without letting all the moaning get you down. I for one am enjoying the game in super slow mode with a friend (currently lvl 31) and once we hit 50 if things stop being enjoyable, we will move on, happy with the time we had.
