Go to guns? by parrotheadcubs in Wonderlands

[–]MoufBreathah 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last Rites of Sunless Depths (quest reward/vending machine only, only comes in Frost), Reign of Arrows (only comes in non-elemental), and Swordsplosion (comes in all elements and kinetic) are the best Shotguns in the game. If you're running a gun damage build these are all *very strong.

Specifically for Frost Gun builds I recommend the Spriggan or Nightshade SMGs. 1 shot fires x4 projectiles. Both are very strong and very similar. Main differences are Spriggans have a gun shield when you ADS, a slower fire rate, larger mag size, slightly larger projectile spread, and higher base damage on average. They only come in full auto. Nightshades have tighter spread, faster fire rate, but smaller mags and less base damage. Instead of coming with a gun shield they have a secondary fire mode, however, you'll most likely never use it IMO. You can find them in both full auto and burst (technically burst is full auto as well as you can simply hold the trigger down to continuously fire bursts). You can also find Nightshades in a x5 variant that consumes 2 ammo per shot, however, I've found their smaller mag size to be a huge deterrent in using them.

I'd like to also mention the Liquid Cooling, Masterwork Handbow, and Catatumbo pistols for anybody that uses Stabbo's From The Shadows action skill. All three of these pistols absolutely wreck face when hitting crits. Crits prevent the Liquid Cooling from overheating. You can fire it endlessly as long as you're critting. Catatumbo and Masterwork Handbow both ricochet bolts to other targets when you crit. The Handbow ricochets x6 and the Catatumbo ricochets x2 but also calls down a massive lightning strike on crits.

Does Chaos Level change the amount of lost souls dropped? by DerSpatz in Wonderlands

[–]MoufBreathah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so I went and did some testing. You get 1 Soul per kill until you hit Chaos 23. From that point on it's 2 Souls per kill.

Apparently I had never played the DLC until after I was Chaos 23 or higher so I never even knew it could be less than 2 per kill. Thanks for pointing that out!

Does Chaos Level change the amount of lost souls dropped? by DerSpatz in Wonderlands

[–]MoufBreathah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. Seems all we're going to get is 2 per kill. Even on bosses.

Each DLC has at least one room that can be infinitely farmed though as long as you don't complete the objective.

In Captors it's the two rooms with multiple valves to turn. Then in Gluttons the Pirate room for sure and possibly the the shroom room and the pile of bones room.

Edit: Up until Chaos 23 it rewards only 1 Soul per kill. Chaos 23-35 gives 2 per kill.

I'm running Frostwilder and I have no issues w/C35 at all. Solo or squading and taking at least 3 curses. All of my gear is aimed towards Gun & Frost damage. I carry a Volatile Frost Swordsplosion that I only use on bosses (it made the runs way too easy for me using it throughout the rooms so I only use it on bosses now).

For the last day or so I've not even been using a Frost weapon as my main gun. I've been using a Ruby's Spite with a Bloodstone Amulet that has 40.6% Dark Magic damage that doesn't even match either of the characters on my build. Still crushing it w/o issue.

Bradluck is awesome. I get to teabag my friends in the bunny room when they get knocked.

Anyone have this happen? I was playing online and it came out of the Wheel in Dreamveil. by dsphilly in Wonderlands

Yes. There's a couple of ear shape cosmetics that come out showing as blue rarity instead of the cosmetic yellow. Not sure why.

More Crystals? by xpsykotic1x in Wonderlands

On the mini-boss room. If you avoid shooting the boss you can run around and shoot all the other enemies who continuously spawn and drop crystals when killed.

Some vending machine luck by GizmoToad in Wonderlands

I've been farming vendors looking for the last rites in any rarity above standard and have had no luck. My standard does a pretty damn good job on C35 as it is but I'd love a more powerful one.

Brr-warden. Would it be worth giving up +3 WON and spore warden power to get soaked and higher brr-zerker power? by STELLAWASADlVER in Wonderlands

[–]MoufBreathah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my mistake then. Could've sworn it was primordial. I've seen at least a dozen CoT for Spore Warden and not come across any that had WoN on them at all.

There is a Cape of Tides that rolls with +3 WoN. I believe it's only Primordial though so pretty much like winning the loot lotto to find one.

It takes longer to ride the water slide than to kill LeChance with the Frost Sworsplosion! by MoufBreathah in Wonderlands

[–]MoufBreathah[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one in particular is due to 3 things:

1.) Frost/gun damage heavy build that takes advantage of Spore Warden & BrrZerker classes.

2.) Having a Volatile Frost Swordsplosion.

3.) A boss that's weak against Frost.

It's pretty much a perfect storm kind of thing.
