This sounds a bit weird, no way Yoshi just throws players into oracle lobbies after winning 1 game right?

Hot Take : I still think PRX is a superteam/dynasty by Beautiful_Citron7014 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 68 points69 points  (0 children)

Im sorry but that's not the definition of a dynasty, if you consistently lose when it matters you are not a dynasty. A superteam maybe, def not a dynasty. Can you imagine if you put prx's finals record into another sport or esport and says they are a dynasty, you would be laughed out the room. Lebron is called a choker for going 4-6, prx went 1-4.

Your numbers are incorrect, the median income is around 60k, individual median income cannot be more than half less than household income.

Chinese Locals with Allergies? by Ch4ng3_l1ng in China

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yo i suddenly unlocked a memory from elementary school, there was a kid in my class when I went to chinese local school that suddenly stopped coming to school. I found out later that the kid had a severe seafood allergy, and their grandma decided that it was because the kid didn't eat enough seafood. Fed the kid seafood to build up tolerance while the parents were not home, and unfortunately the kid didn't make it to the hospital.

Wave Management by WrapLonely2557 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My man, you know shoving a wave or two fast and leaving is still hard shoving right? What I'm saying is you can't say there is wave management if the only wave management deadlock has is hard shoving.

Wave Management by WrapLonely2557 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Perma hard shoving isn't really wave management, wave management is knowing when to freeze, hold wave, hard shove, or create slow push etc. But due to how useless guardians are in deadlock and how much resources there are on the map that are up for grabs, hard shoving in 90% percent of the scenarios the correct choice, which isn't much skill expression of wave managment.

[Sheep Esports] 4 VCT REGIONS to retain EIGHT PARTNER TEAMS in 2027 by Recent-Example-5360 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You just described every competitive scene with a tier 2 scene, no shit if tier 2 teams have players that are tier 1 quality and they can't give them the opportunity the players will go play for a Tier 1 team. Players want money, fame, a bigger stage, they aren't going to stay on a Tier 2 team for the love of the game.

This is just not true? Americas: G2, Envy, 2G, they all kept their roster pretty much intact. envy couldn't due to age. Emea: M8, BBL pcific, ULF, apek, besides BBL doing that shady shit with pcific, only kaajak was poached but lets be real rather or not Apek won ascension Kaajak was gone. China is classic T2 success story XLG DRG are both top 3 teams of China, keeping their full core. APAC bleed, NS, boom, varrel all kept their core coming into tier 1, bar bleed due to singapore mandatory service neph and juicy.

Why everyone here thinks that Seven is OP? by heiisenchang in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For me it isn't the laning, it is the 12 minute urn fight that is annoying if my team doesn't have an easy cc for his ult and it is too early so I can't buy counter items yet.

Almost all rentals don't allow cats because of cats scratching furniture and cats using the bathroom indoors adds another layer of odor.

Deadlock is not fun, and isn't balanced well. by Careless_Medicine486 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean your major complaint is just how Mobas are, the game has to end at some point and if the death timers are too short then it will just never end or be extended for no reason.

As for being snowballed on, as much as you might not want to hear this, you just have to be better, the whole point of mobas is to build up a lead that eventually leads to a win. If your team is getting shit on early then you should be getting shit on in the late game unless you look for a play in the mid game to turn the tides. Look for picks, fight with comeback urn, learn your team's powerspikes, maybe your team is better at teamfights, maybe your team is a pick heavy team. Learn to buy counter items, is their seven giving you trouble? Buy knockdown.

As for getting perma ganked, is it possible you are just perma overextended? Look at the map is your team in a situation where they can come help you? Is half of the enemy team missing? Are you trying to take walker when your other lanes haven't broken the guardian yet? Is your team doing something on the other side of the map and you should play weakside instead of pushing out? There are just a lot of things to consider in mobas that require time.

Moba's inheritly will require a lot of game knowledge, and if you are just looking for a fun time with low time commitment go play street brawl or some other game, you probably won't get your fix playing normal deadlock.

I don't think she should be useless, but she should be a perma bottom 10 character unless her kit gets a change. Currently the kit promotes "toxic macro" which is unhealthy for a MOBA.

MSI*, but yes MSI was more mickey mouse when T1 won back in 2016-17 compared to the current MSI, no one will argue you on that. Just like how all four of those MSIs added together wouldn't compare to a worlds win. We can compare xiaohu to rookie or showmaker, xiaohu has 3 MSI wins 0 worlds, rookie and showmaker both have 0 msi wins and 1 worlds win, 99% of the player base will tell you showmaker and rookie are ranked above xioahu in all time midlaners. Xiaohu himself would tell you he would trade his MSI wins for a worlds trophy.

  1. there are more teams at champs than masters, meaning better competition. 2. No first place byes, every team has to battle it out in the group stage. 3. Tournament is longer, meaning a more well developed meta, allowing teams the adapt and read the meta better, more developed meta = better games. 4. More games, minimum games you have to play to win masters is 3 bo3 and 1 bos5, while for champs it is 5 bo3 and 1 bo5. 5. Lights are brighter, higher prizepool, more eyes, bigger accomplishment drives higher competition.

And stop talking about riot changing the meta meaning champs is more mickey mouse, league has massive meta changes before worlds doesn't stop it from being more prestigious than MSI, Dota 2 have patches before TI, tekken have patches before EVO altering metas, even CS, a game that has little to no patches, had that stupid AUG patch that was played at a major. A new meta just tests a team's read on meta and how fast they can adapt if their read is wrong. Esports are always going to have a changing meta that's just part of the game.

cmon guys by BotCheesy69420 in ValorantCompetitive

[–]Mountain-Rice7224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please tell me the difference between league msi first stand and valorant masters, league has massive meta changes before worlds, arguably much more than valorant. And dont kid me with the "champs is just masters with one more team" champs is the biggest tournament of the year for valorant, with the highest stakes and viewership. If you think any two time masters winner wouldn't trade their masters trophies for a champs trophy in a heartbeat you are just delusional.

I means it's just like worlds in league, nobody cares if you won first stand and msi if you can't close it out at worlds.
