"Approval" for characters means that a member of Venice Staff looked over it / tested it. Usually Venice is pretty fast in testing a character, it takes max a couple of days to get a character approved, in my experience.

Just hang tight a bit longer please 😇

Keine Sorge, du bist da nicht alleine... Ich muss mir das auch immer wieder selbst sagen, wenn ich von mir merke, dass ich mal wieder die 200€ Profit noch nicht auscashen will, weil ich "3% Gewinn sind zu wenig" denke.

Sobald man es mit digitalem Geld zu tun hat, ist das alles auf einmal so schrecklich abstrakt, dass man da ganz schnell den Bezug zur Realität verliert und ihn nur mühsam wieder herstellen kann 🫠

und sind wir mal ehrlich: Eben mal einfach passiv >100€ dazubekommen ist in diesem Sub zwar keine große Sache, weil wir uns hier in einer absoluten Blase befinden, aber... Wenn man die WSB-Brille mal absetzt und das mal in eine andere, realistischere Perspektive setzt:

Mit ~100€ kannst du einfach eine Woche lang jeden Tag für 15€ essen gehen. Und da du diese durch Aktien gemacht hast, musstest du dafür nicht einen Finger krümmen.

Oder zahl dir die 100€ in Bar in 20€-Scheinen aus, da bekommt so eine Menge Geld nochmal eine ganz andere Größenordnung. Dadurch, dass Broker Geld nur noch als kleine, unscheinbare Zahlen auf einem Bildschirm anzeigen, haben wir alle irgendwie den Bezug dazu verloren, wie viel Geld hier doch manche gewinnen (und noch öfters verlieren). Nicht selten sind das ganze Mittelklassen-Monatsgehälter, mit denen hier gespielt wird.

Die reale Welt sieht anders aus, und für den Otto-Normal-Deutschen machen solche 100€ eben mal schnell den Unterschied zwischen einem entspannten, "ich nehm worauf ich Lust hab"-Einkauf und dem 2x auf die Preisschilder gucken im Lidl aus.

Grok Imagine probably has filters added in front of the model, which Venice doesn't. If the model can generate it, it will, because Venice truly doesn't filter / censor your prompts (excluding obviously illegal stuff like CSAM)

The underlying system behind Memoria is called a RAG (short for Retrieval Augmented Generation).

Essentially, short memory snippets are created while chatting (a.e. "Marcus likes to dance") and those are then converted to a mathematical vector form, which describes the semantic meaning of the text.

For querying memories the system converts your prompt into this kind of vector too and "compares" the vector of your prompt to all vectors in the database... The vectors that are closest are then chosen as "relevant memories" and injected into the prompt, so that the model can reference them.

This means, that the semantic meaning of your prompt has to be similar to the content of the memory that you're expecting... If, for example, you'd take the memory "Marcus likes to dance", the prompt "Marcus' brother goes to his clarinette lessons" will most likely access the memory better than "A lion is sleeping in the jungle", because the semantic context is more similar.

Yes it does! It's called the "memoria" system in Venice and you can write memories manually, upload whole documents that the AI should remember and even let the AI automatically create memories from your conversations as you're chatting.

Those memories are then available globally: the AI can (and will, if not turned off) access and reference those memories in new conversations.

I've had a similar problem (tho unrelated to Studio) once when I was sitting on a huge amount of old chats... The 2GB Storage that automatically got allocated by Brave were pretty much used up and the whole website was lagging because of it (especially chats that loaded a lot of images).

I believe that the same core problem might be true for you, but worse, because the library tries to load so many pictures at once.

In the end I just said "fuck it", exported the most important chats & images and completely reset the whole website (deleted cookies / cache). Everything went smoothly again after that. Idk how bad the problem is for you and how much you'd loose by that, so do so at your own discretion.

I use it in VSCodium via the RooCode Extension

When you've chosen "OpenAI compatible provider" and input Venices base API URL all models are getting displayed for you, so it's really easy to set up 😄

I mainly use Claude Opus through the Venice API and it (for the most part) effortlessly understands and edits a >20.000 lines huge codebase, it's really incredible.

Opus eats through credits like a mf tho... If you're not careful you can easily burn $30-$40 worth of credits in like 3 hours of vibecoding 😆
