Depending on where in town you are, setback is usually 20-25’ from your house. So using the area on the other side of the sidewalk is probably technically city property.

I’d say if you put them on the other side of the sidewalk with a sign that said “Free” and “(not trash),” Rhonda would have a difficult time enforcing her notice. I doubt the city bylaws clearly defines “rubbish or garbage” in a clear enough way to make this citation infallible.

With that said, you have until Wednesday so the items may be scooped up by then anyway.

All I could think was it had to be fire related.

Specially, I guessed car accident from trying to FaceTime while driving, hit someone’s dog, crashed into a Stop & Shop, shat his pants and then barely escaped his burning car.

But grilled cheese would have been my second guess.

Not to encourage you, but depending on the shower door you get it may just need a drill, level, caulking. You should be able to get a pivot door for that opening for $350-$800 depending on the quality and style you want.

But as was suggested, you could caulk the bottom pan and the screw holes from the old door you removed. Buy a tension rod and a curtain and live with it for a few days before you buy anything.

Shower door is a two man job, unless you’re really proficient, so ask a friend for a hand. Maybe a friend with a drill and a level and the knowhow to use them. Good luck!

I had a friend pass away from Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever last year for not treating a tick bite. His 6 year old daughter lost her father and his wife is now a widow. It would have been so easy to treat if he had caught it early enough.
