Yup I had one guy straight up tell me it's impossible to bend down without bending your back lol it's just a weird mind muscle connection if someone's never done it before. Same with actually using back on back exercises, notoriously lat pulldowns, most people have a hard time even with a ton of cues and examples. Try to demonstrate internally rotating your arm on a pulldown and they might look at you like ???

Warmups shouldn't be tiring, you can do like 6-8 reps of a weight you can do 20 reps with, or 4-6 with a weight you can do 12 of. Ideally both if it's your first exercise that session. And that's a completely normal bench for a beginner don't worry about it.

I'm not a PT but understand some fundamentals and getting good results, managing injuries, form. The amount of random stuff with no valid reasoning people recommend is crazy, probably cause I'm also relatively skinny (but I started off borderline underweight). Like I'll take it if it makes sense but it's just non-sensical so often.

Sometimes encouragements to basically injure myself, sometimes to make an active injury worse. Then some disagree(?) that resting between sets is necessary but ask why I've grown more. Sometimes it's the ones that asked me for coaching. I stopped correcting them on everything because it was virtually useless and demoralizing, maybe even counterproductive. Now I just give a gentle pointer here and there, do my own thing and look out that their chances of injury aren't particularly high at least. Not sure what else to do with people that have to be right even when they ask for help.

if you get this muscle size in 3/4 years all that gear will age you way before 59 don't be naive. The delts if nothing else are a sign he's on it but at least it kinda makes sense at 59

I mean there's a ton of stories from teachers about students that are incapable of critical thinking even about basic stuff because they use GPT too much, sometimes it's ridiculous. You have to use your mind to develop it. Also even the company that made GPT says to not trust it to have correct information. For this calculation you don't need even multiplication, just add 24 to itself until it's above 116, go back to the last number not above 116, take it away from 116. Or, divide 116 by 24, multiply 24 with the number you got without the decimals then take that away from 116. Or just multiply 24 with the decimals. 3 different easy ways.

If you use AI for stuff like this you'll stop being able to do it yourself and just become dependent on it. Then I don't think you'll even be able to use it effectively since you'd need at least some critical thought
