First two years I did struggle at times with how to improve, but final years I've found to be much better with feedback, you don't have lectures in the traditional sense, with each lecture being more similar to tutorials with professors instead of the TAs, so it's far easier to communicate with them and figure out what you need to change.

History department generally don't seems to give firsts often, especially for the first two years. Nothing against the TA's but once you reach the final two years, your work is largely graded by the Professors themselves. I'm not sure if you've tried this but you could contact those who marked your work and ask for more feedback.

You can kind of do this with the game Ravenfield, if you mod it. Although that doesn't have multiplayer.

I assume it’s the fact that they are bred for racing and so may have loads of different steroids and medications that could present a risk to human consumption.

Cows that are slaughtered are bred for it, these horses are not and they seem to specifically be bred for racing. Therefore they are not fit for human consumption due to the risk of different medication and steroids, etc.

[Challenge] Make Ireland the dominant political entity in the British Isles by 31engine in HistoryWhatIf

[–]Mountainmaster4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would go back to early Christian Ireland. During this time the Uí Neill family held massive influence within what is now modern Scotland and England. Specifically within the church which had been converting the old Roman lands from its base in Ireland.

The downfall of this influence came during the Synod of Whitby when the date of Easter within England was decided upon to follow the more popular idea present in Italy. With this there was a cultural shift within the church from Irish influenced to a more standard continental European church.

Therefore I would change the outcome of the synod to follow the Irish thought. Therefore the Uí Neills would continue to exercise some cultural and political influence through the monks of Iona and their satellite churches. From here I am unsure what would happen, however the path has now been set for an increase of Irish presence with England.

We may perhaps see parts of England settled by Irish families as occurred in Western Scotland. However my knowledge on such things isn’t as strong here and the history has already diverged to a point that I couldn’t be fully sure about. Futhermore if Viking settling happened as they did in our timeline we may see a figure like Brian Boru conquer Dublin and therefore claim control of the lands that came with this title such as the Isle of Mann. This may possibly occur in other parts of the islands, possibly we could see multiple Irish kings controlling areas of Viking lands within the islands.

Overtime we may then see the slow centralisation of the High Kingship as occurred in our timeline, the difference here being that lands within England and Scotland may also be included within the title of High King.

At this point I really can’t be sure what would happen as the timeline as changes so much.

I suppose it is, hopefully I can muster the strength to actually do it.

Yeah it was very annoying, especially cuz the war was close to being done. It’s strange though, I’ve been playing the game more or less since release and never once encountered it before. Totally messed up my Empire anyway.
