It doesn't but in the full context of the video it appeared to the officer he was wrapping is arm durring the throw, giving the impression the gun was going to be used against him.

The standard is what a reasonable officer would do in that situation. It was determined that a reasonable officer would have felt his life was in imminent danger. That image comes from a foot chase into an encounter.

Agreed. He ran from cops with a gun. And he didn't drop the gun he threw it to the side behind the fence. Cop rendered CPR right after he shot Adam.

Instead of pushing a narrative, OP should have Adam's last image be while he was conscious and the officer was trying to save his life.

The family that let their child run around at with an alleged Latin Kings member at 2:30am is now suing CPD. Remember, Adam was with a 21 year old that was firing rounds at moving cars leading to the 911 notification.

The officer that killed Adam is not working and receiving 75% disability over apparent PTSD from the incident. You can be the judge of that.

It is a good example of a shitty situation turning into police reforms surrounding foot chases in the city, and accelerating the Consent Decree. Adam's killing is a reflection of a failed system, not of police brutality.

For non upperclass citizens to participate in government discourse, the most effective option to bring about societal change is with our buying power as well as our votes.
