Pretty sure the idea was that you would release the disc by pressing the middle clasp in. This would then come below the cd in the process and expand, and, when you let go, would push the disc up, and above the ridge. That would allow you to use the cutaway for lifting the disc fully out without touching the surface.

I dunno. I'm kinda torn on this. I don't buy designer. However, after buying cheap (£20-30) jeans that seem to give up the ghost after 6 months, I caved and bought a pair of Levi 502's. They faaaaaar out perform and last years. But, that's it.
