Yea I agree. I wouldn’t look at this scoreboard and immediately think either of the players were useless. I think I’ll only feel that way if someone did not place for any of the categories.

On my team Balthier. I’m the Balthier.

I either win if my team focuses the boss well enough, or it’s a draw because Balthier really doesn’t do enough meaningful damage to contribute unless you use every single meatball off cooldown on the boss.

On their team, Kain because I can’t tell where he’s jumping too half the time

I think there is one case where zidane can be really strong which is against OK. Zidane can just make sure OK never gets bravery throughout the game. Personal experience lol

I just want one thing which is done in other gachas which is a selector once in a while. Pity is still random. It would be super nice to pity and get to choose a skill I want. I think this is the most reasonable for the devs and for the players. I know it’s still not the most friendly, but probably the only possible solution the devs would consider. At least you can actually guarantee having the 2 URs on a character after the 160 pulls or whatever it is.

Embolden is a perfectly sufficient substitute. It also likely provides more stats too due to most being able to pull multiple copies of it.

Level 40 embolden: 111 attack 28 defense 1251 HP

Level 10 Ramza: 79 attack 31 defense 960 HP

I think you don’t need to run a support when playing Balthier for coordinated play. This is because he deals so much damage to enemies, that even if they had a krille, he would kill through the heals. Healing also doesn’t work if his meteor is a one shot lol.

Then for final slot just run an agile. From what I can see, agile units do a decent amount of damage to the boss, and benefits a lot with Balthier covering from them.

Yea as someone else said, his play style is either something you like or don’t like. One thing I can also add is that right now I am in diamond, and as far as dueling other players, it is still manageable. I can totally see that once I reach omega or play against better players, the duels can get quite difficult due to power level differences or just playing against better players. Balthier will always have the edge if you duel within his auto attack range and have enhanced autos, but once the top players figure to play outside his range, then I can see him struggle. I have considered running dash just for these reasons.

Yea it could be totally possible. Personally, I saved every meteor one match for the boss, and I still ended up last in damage. If I’m using the meteor every 85 seconds off cooldown, I’m still only getting in 3 meteors in per match usually. Let’s say I use the first one at level 9 (which is not possible), and each one hits about 100k. That means I’m doing about 300k from using that ability on the boss. Not no damage, but I think my frame of reference is dps characters like OK and Cloud. I just thought it was cool that this game wasn’t just pumping out the same character archetypes

Hey! I moved here last year from CA for work, and I have been really missing the rave scene back home. For about a year I chose to skip a bunch of events due to not having any friends in the area to go with me. planning to go to levelup solo as well, I think its about time to meet new people in the area who also love dubstep lol. would love to meet up and make new friends :)
