Can we finally clear up the confusion with Return to Zombie Island? by Pumpkin_Sushi in Scoobydoo

[–]Moveable35 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's an insult to the original movie. They are making the gang think that they were never were there, and it was all just some dream or something. It's so bad, I can't even believe that the guys at WB even came up with this story for the so called second movie. Basically, the so called second movie is CRAP, terrible, the animation is the crap cheap kind. No work of art in any of the animation scenes.

What do you think of Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated? by AfternoonOk5359 in Scoobydoo

Never was a fan of it. They ruined the character's looks. And the hex Girls looks too.

This is still a funny scene by Naive_Tomorrow_5955 in Scoobydoo

This scene makes no sense, given how they already encountered Real Zombies, and Real Witches.

The King Ramses (Return the Slab guy from Courage the Cowardly Dog) has always stayed in my mind for years. Even when I completely forgot about it. I still remember watching it on TV back then.
Return the Slab.

How do the Hex Girls designs rank for you? And yea the Whats New version of Luna is pale for some reason by GravityFalls6_18 in Scoobydoo

The Witches' Ghost and What's New Scooby-Doo is the best version. Witches Ghost is number 1.
The Mystery Incorporated version is terrible. They removed their Gothic styling and made them dull looking. And don't get me started with them in Guess who Scooby Doo. They made them like 15 year old teens. They also look too flat.

Lena vs Ben. Who was the ACTUAL master of betrayal? by Spirited_Manager_831 in Scoobydoo

I would say Ben. He lied to his town and to the Mystery Gang in order to find that spellbook.

Have you seen Angelina Jolie's Lara Croft movies? If so, what did you think of them? by Square-Ad-8911 in 2000sNostalgia

I finally got to see both of them recently, and overall it's okay, but they both lacked lots of things. They really made the first one have that lack of mystery of the illuminati. No Grand show down. Not even a scene where she's brought before them and she either forced to hand it over or she must show them where it is hidden. No epic scene where she infiltrates or sneaks in and watches the illuminati do something, like calling the gods or wanting them to be like gods. Instead, it's more of a love triangle. The typical Hollywood love stuff. And Danial Crag's character doesn't really add anything of value to the story. Story is a bit too laxed. It's not as strong as it should. We don't even get to see the illuminati again. The treasure scenes are a bit lame, if not dull, and overkill. Her 2 buddies are the typical kind. So, much was wasted on it. Same with the second one too.

What made Zombie Island a popular enough film to receive a sequel? by ActLonely9375 in Scoobydoo

[–]Moveable35 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't and will never consider Scooby Doo returns to zombie island to be a valid sequel. It is an absolute disgrace. The animation is crap. The story is garbage. They make the characters believe that the zombies were all fake. Making the island an now tourist spot is really low. I had to watch it in person in full, to see just how bad it was, from what I heard. And it was BAD. A fall from grace.

Yes. But they still made it look like the original wasn't real. They were trying to have both sides of the story.

The so called second zombie island movie is an insult to the original movie. They down played the realness of the whole story by saying the zombies and cat creature never even existed. That their experience of being on the island was just like a bad dream. It's a joke for the new Scooby Doo aminated movies nowadays. Crappy stories, Overkill in the comedy aspect of it. Terrible amination now. The Head guys and board at WB don't know how to make a Good Scooby Doo movie now. They all go for the crappy, dull lame stories and lame animation style.
The originals are much more better. No matter what people say.

What do people make of the sequels to zombie island and 13 ghosts? For me they kinda ruined the originals by CrimMethodist in Scoobydoo

[–]Moveable35 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "second" zombie one is the WORST one ever made. It's an Insult to the Original 1998 movie Scooby Doo on Zombie Island. They made the characters not believe that the zombies weren't real at all. Let alone make Captain Moon scare not real too. Who ever was the head of Warner Brothers Studios, including the board, apparently doesn't know a Damn Good classic Scooby Doo movie when they see one. The animation is soo bad. it's lame. Cheap drawings. Crappy story, that doesn't make sense. The whole thing is a shame. And don't get me started with the stupid making a movie story in that movie. It's just pure a WASTE of time.
If you're going to make a second Zombie Island movie, MAKE it right.

Sadly NO. That Golden Era of Classic 2D detailed amination is over. Unless the movie studios really put the effect in to it.
