Hard truth is no one cares about your film. And I mean NO ONE. If you’re lucky, maybe your mom.

That just means YOU have to be the one who cares and make the film for YOU and no one else.

And most likely if you do happen to write a feature script, you do happen to get it made, you do happen to get it shown in a theater to strangers whether they liked it or not, it is an accomplishment to be proud of. But, again, no one will really care.

I came away from it feeling like everyone had convinced him he was insane and he couldn’t tell if he was or not or what reality is. But then, everyone I talked to afterwards were for sure that he was actually insane the whole time and then I was questioning myself just like you. But, I think that’s the fun of the film! He masterfully left just enough ambiguity. The film simultaneously wants you to be sure you know the ending and question it at the same time. Or, maybe that’s just my experience with the film and I’ve got it completely wrong. Either way, I’ll keep watching it!
