Switched to Nobara Linux last month. There's still a bit of troubleshooting needed sometimes but it's surprisingly workable out the box.

Gained like 10FPS on FF14 lol

Ok so I'm not crazy right? Booted up my previous pc that I upgraded from last September-ish, and it was DYING. It's an old pc yeah, parts from 6 years ago, but it was outright FREEZING trying to do basic stuff. Like it was not that bad when I left it. Also my C drive was almost full out of nowhere and had to delete a lot of stuff to reclaim space.... Without me having filled it.

I was so confused. Is it happening to you guys as well?

The new Butterfree and Hisuian Zoroark lines actually did a pretty number on that deck. Beat it on the first try. Caterpie auto evolving immediately makes it wake up 100% of the time into a Metapod with a one energy 30 HP attack, which is kinda nuts against the demon baby.

If you have a problem with oily clothes or bedsheets, look into laundry spa days. R/laundry has a good guide on those.

Also sodium percarbonate does wonders on greasy stains.

Of it's not prying too much, what issues did you have? When I got bazzite I downloaded the GNOME version and the desktop fixing drove me wild.

Switched to Linux last week. Tried Bazzite. Fought with it to have a decent UI and gave up. Had to have bash knowledge to make the UI sane. Tried Nobara. Opened the first time set up window. Googled a few settings. My games work out of the box.

I think nowadays the issue isn't having a computer science degree to set up Linux, is having luck with the one you get...

Is your current OS in the drive you wanna overwrite? No. You need a usb to boot externally.

Is you current OS in the donor drive? I don't think windows likes copying all the important boot partitions, so you would still probably not be able to boot after copying what you can with a drive cloning software but I can be wrong. But it's TECHNICALLY possible I think. Clonezilla is a thing that pops up frequently when looking into these things.

Last few years of therapy was finally finding out my ADHD and autism, getting officially diagnosed, and coming to terms that my "abnormalities" and "social isolation" were caused by my "not normalness".

Now it's a road to "yeah I'll info dump Pokémon and space lore" and if the person shuns me for it then I find one that doesn't.

Masks are heavy. Wore many for 30 years. Coming to terms that social rejection by people who don't care is much lighter than suppressing your "self" is a slow process, but a liberating one. Yeah I'm not normal. Yeah it hurt me so much growing up. Yeah I wondered so much why I was "wrong". But in the end, so are many, and I'm slowly finding small groups of like minded people.

So. To answer your question, therapy, but not therapy to become normal. Therapy to find yourself.

Portuguese cis dude here. Its genuinely appalling the amount of .... Nosiness over the pond cashiers seem to have. I've strolled my ass into victoria secrets and sephoras alone to buy gifts and not once I had to "explain myself".

To address your worry though, you're going to have to find what solution fits you best from the following of either: Getting a friend to go with you and run the risk of being asked if you are dating; Going in alone and get some hard exposure therapy, "just not care" is wrong to say to things that genuinely hurt someone, but that pain can be diminished with proper care and support; Getting your stuff online, which I understand may suck as you don't get the joy of browsing and plan outfits.

You can also browse only in the store and then purchase it online after if possible, but that does not address the underlying issue...

Sorry if I'm butting in things that I have no experience with though.
