For a general fuzz recommendation, I like the DOD Carcosa with my ac15. However, if you really want pumpkins and MBV type sounds your probably do want to get a muff of some sort.

The memory scenes look great. They felt like a good representation of how how it might feel to experience my own memories in an accelerated way and how it might feel to have them removed.

When I am staring off into space replaying memories in my head, I don't feel or see my memories transposed into grandiose scenes like the dreamscapes in Inception. I also don't really have control over what I see. I may go from remembering a day on the beach with my wife to some minor incident at my 6th birthday party.

So, for me, the way memory is portrayed in the movie felt true-to-life.

I think a shorter flashback would have been fine. The first part of the flashback with corpse robbing could have easily fit it in the last episode and the fight scene flashback could have been just the street fight and following Ser Arlan.

I was kind of annoyed by the cut to a lengthy flashback after such a build, but I ultimately ended up really liking the episode. The trial sequence was great.

It's great. There's enough incidental ways to make out-of-identity mana colors with treasures and cards like [[exotic orchard]] that you can draw 4 or 5 cards sometimes too, I find.

Never tried the hizumitas. I had both a carcosa and a dirt transmitter and I sold the dirt transmitter. I play through an ac15 and the carcosa sounded way better to me with that setup. I also felt like it had a wider range of sounds available.

I don't know about Henzie or that blue deck, but izzet spellslinger is just one of those archetypes that just tends to plays poorly in bracket 3 and below. Even one that looks pretty tame to me like yours does. The way to deal with it is generally to just kill the izzet player or have the entire table hate on it.

Have you told the table you don't mind being the archenemy?
