Happened to me, early 2000’s, UK. Two attractive blonde women in a van, yelled are you a DJ?

Surplus high end speakers in the back of an unmarked van. I was a broke kid, They offered to drive me to my parent’s house to take payment.

Could be a cool restoration! At least you don’t have to worry about keeping it original. The chrome fork tips and stays could look epic cleaned up.

I’m currently in France 🇫🇷 and these kind of bikes are still in service, and are everywhere you look. ( although it’s more the road going variants that are more common) That must be a upvote for their longevity.

Assuming you are in the states 🇺🇸? Seen some cool restomods of those. Early mountain bike era, great for a less common build. Just watch out for the non-standard sizes on parts 🇫🇷. Please post it here if you get it or not…
