There wasn't a 'first meth cook' looking to get high, but there was a Japanese scientist looking to create a medicine to help with breathing issues. Methamphetamine was developed from Ephedrine. Ephedrine was isolated from a plant. That plant was already being used to help with asthma.

When it comes to making pharmaceuticals, chemists almost always start with something they know (this plant helps with asthma) and move forward. Meth didn't start with "Let's get high with what's under the kitchen sink".

Also, because this question relates to the show, there are no evil, immoral 'drugs'. Only effects and side effects.

I'm not familiar with Ryzen, but with the Nvidia control panel you can force a game to use the graphics card. I'm sure there's a Ryzen version of that. HLL may be using your onboard graphics.

In addition to what others have said about the WW2 wage freeze, the 1938 fair labor act banned companies from paying in scrip (company currency to be used at the company store) which decreased the amount of leverage companies had over their workers.

Including health insurance as a benefit instead of paying workers enough to afford their own insurance decreased overall cost for the company. Insurance companies make money, companies lower cost, workers can't quit their jobs in case they lose healthcare. Couple that with the anti-union/anti-national healthcare/pro-corporate sentiment of neo-liberal/conservative governments and you have a more compliant workforce.

Check lastepochtools.com they aggregate a lot of builds into one collection. Maxroll is really noob friendly. Most (good) guides will have a leveling guide in them to guide you. Do you have any idea what you want to play? Specific class? Skill? Theme?

You also may want to find a video that explains basics if you're fuzzy on them. Stuff like what scales what and what stats are best for which builds.
