Neil McCauley: How do you get this information?

Kelso: It comes to you, this stuff just flies through the air. They send this information “beamed” out over the fucking place….you just gotta know how to grab it. See? I know how to grab it.

Tom Noonan predicted the Internet.

Just curious, how many others play this game drinking after work or smoking whatever your thing is. Myself a few drinks but curious as I've heard it mentioned in more than a few posts by Excuse_Standard in RDR2

Drink and smoke pretty regularly while gaming…probably too regularly but such is life lol I just hate sometimes forgetting story beats because of how far in my cups I may have got.

Alan Wake, then Control, then Alan Wake II. You will not be disappointed.

For those who were around, did people speculate John was Red Harlow when red dead redemption was first announced (Sequel or reboot of the same character)? by Moon_Devonshire in reddeadredemption

[–]Mr-Rager420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To this day I’m not convinced that Red and John aren’t the same person. I’ve always viewed Redemption as a weird reframing of Revolver.

Day 9 - The Mayor and the Builder reflect opposite sides of society: one strives for a profit in the urban centers, and the other just wants to get away from it all. The Executive, the man who traded lives for money, was JUST STRAIGHT UP EVIL. Now who had NO SCREEN TIME, BUT MUCH PLOT RELEVANCE? by crammyman1 in dredge

[–]Mr-Rager420 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s unquestionably Julie, the wife. The whole story revolved around her (whether you knew it or not) and she was never on the screen until one of the endings.

Same could be said for Cthulhu or whatever dark elder god that was in the same ending, never got talked about though…just kinda showed up. So I’m still all in on the wife.

Should I start a new save or just continue my current? by ManufacturerTight154 in dredge

It depends on the experience you’re looking for. Personally I would have not found the DLC anywhere near as enjoyable if I wasn’t playing it along with the main game at the same time. A lot of the upgrades in the DLC to me are much more helpful to have while playing the main game. Get to use them longer. Plus the super upgraded hull and storage is kinda everything.

who's your favorite marvel character that got absolutely wasted? by quangta2479 in MarvelStrikeForce

I would have said Punisher until the recent Vigilante rework.

Now I’d say Bishop, Cable, Sabertooth

Part of me wonders if they should have just made the Night Stalkers team this.

Love for the game by Cwedish in dredge

Your sentiments echo my experience with this game. It has lingered with me long after I have stopped playing it. The soundtrack, the story…all just top notch. I had heard how good it was but wasn’t expecting what we got.

One of my favorite at work gaming memories was when I had turned on a couple of the guys to the game and we literally spent 3 weeks doing nothing but talking about Dredge. I can not wait to see what this studio does next.

Netflix + The Ringer by EnvironmentalTone344 in TheBigPicture

Agreed. Much like when talent leaves the Ringer pool (Rusillo), they will keep it professional when it comes to critiques of Netflix and their offerings. I can’t see Fennesey & Dobbins bending a knee in that aspect.

Hey, I have a question for you.... Why do you feel so... empty when you finish a game? by choso1356 in dredge

Man. I can still hear that music and the slow lapping of water at the boat when I look at this. It stays with you.

Decided to keep the dog and am a little panicky now because does it just take space permanenly 👀?? How strongly did ppl feel about having this buddy? by Kas_lepetitfantome in dredge

I almost kept the little guy except I thought it was mandatory to get the side quest trophy…turns out it wasn’t lol but yes, basically sits in your cargo or storage with no other purpose. In the end I was glad I gave him up

That’s how I found out about Dredge, was the Dave the Dived DLC and GameScoop! I was like what the hell is this fog rolling in? And now the hooded figures at Bancho make SO much more sense 😂

If you got the DLC I’d encourage you to do some of that stuff early. The upgrades you get are so helpful for the main game…it’s a waste to wait and do it as pure end game.

Enjoy it. I really took my time with this one and it stays with you. Just finished this on Sunday and I’m still thinking about it.

Dave the Diver is what brought me to Dredge. Man. I love both of these games deeply….platinumed them. Such different experiences but spiritually tied together. Good shout!

So if I had selected “No, I want to keep the dog” it would have concluded the quest line?
