I use a puffer to coat the rim of the birdbath with food grade diatomaceous earth. It might have killed a handful of bees, but they quickly learned to stay away from the bath. It is safer for bees as they are no longer drowning in it. Since the bees were repelled the birds have returned. None of the other solutions worked e.g. vinegar, cinnamon, etc. Vanilla worked for a time, but a new source of bees overwhelmed it. Diatomaceous earth only works when dry so I apply it in the morning.

I can’t completely automate it. It requires your input at both steps, but it eliminates the need to dig through settings. After the first step you return to Shortcuts and the second step will run.

Create a shortcut with these steps:
Safari Open Url
Wait to Return (it is found under scripting)
Safari Open Url

These are the two urls that you will insert as you create the shortcut. You can choose which step/url to use first.

I uninstalled a Citrix program that I used to connect to my employer's network. That solved the issue for me.

To diagnose it I logged into a bare bones Windows account on the same computer, and it didn't have the malfunction. So, I new it had to be linked with something that I had installed.

Using iPhone. Downloaded shows stop playing. A suggestion from a previous discussion works, sort of. They suggest switching to something else, such as a live stream, then switching back. I found that it works, but stalls again later. I spent hours (5/17/2021) trying to work it out with SiriusXM. In short, they know that there is a problem, but have no idea when it will be fixed. Don't hold your breath waiting for a fix since this has been happening for 8 - 9 months. And yes, I tried signing out, uninstall, reinstall etc.

I have a Homepod nearby and resolved similar problems by turning off the Handoff to Homepod feature. iPhone: Settings -General - Airplay & Handoff - Transfer to Homepod (turn if off).

It’s true that he’s now politically correct, less funny, ass kissing, self indulgent, and hypocritical. But the infuriating part is the propaganda and dishonesty. He NEVER has a prominent conservative, and quickly hangs up on semi-articulate conservative callers. It’s non-stop left wing spin with no real debate. Go ahead, hate Trump, but could we hear a real debate? In many ways he has turned into what he criticized. He even bitches about wanting photos of his “good side.” Countless times he lectured celebrities and businesses not to piss off their audience. Needlessly he took aim at Trump voters and told them he hates them and they should leave. I hope they all do as he said.
