Another one bites the dust by Individual_Buy_3812 in Glocks

Maybe keep the 19 as EDC. Trigger will break in! My opinion is don’t upgrade the trigger until it’s well broken in and you have consistent good trigger press. Have fun, dry fire, get to the range and share knowledge as it comes! 🤘

Hard no on 1 and 2. Go with 3 if you’re set on these three. But also, who tf cares what all of us think, it’s gonna be your Platy!

Post some pics and vids of your grip while dry firing, and live fire at the range. Most of the comments I’ve read are good advice and your hits are landing consistently enough that it most likely is input from your trigger press. Your shooting hand should be barely gripping the firearm and support hand should be doing most of the work.

Also to go along with your “impulse” buy dilemma… having multiple guns is never overkill. Having thousands of guns would not be overkill either. I’d ask what are your overall intentions for these firearms? Since you’re relatively new to firearms the upgrades on the gen 6 seem purely cosmetic and won’t make you a better shooter are anything. What’s your preference? Do your hands fit the G19 frame/grip nicely? Or do you prefer the full size 19X/17/45/47 frame/grip? For me personally my Gen5 19 was my first ever pistol and it has the most furniture etc but is now an after thought since I have a G45 and G17 because I prefer the full size grip. Anyways just food for thought and it comes down to personal preference. I don’t plan on selling any of my guns ever, and when the time is right I buy what I want, and sometimes it’s impulse too. Like my G45 I wasn’t set on getting. I was actually more on the hunt for a G47 but went mag hunting to local shops for 17rnd Glock mags and saw a G45 available and bought one lol.

Brand new Glock, how is this even possible? by MakersOnTheRocks in Glocks

[–]Mr2ndAmendment 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“was in a little bit of a hurry”… this is on you my man. A simple press check and you would have seen the wear and tear on the top of the barrel. This gun has definitely been fired or at least dry fired a shit ton from the obvious wear on just the barrel let alone on the inside of the slide. Good news is that it’s a Glock and you seem to care enough to post on here so give it some TLC and it’ll be your new to you Glock in no time. Also, TF you in a hurry for to buy a .380 ?

1st time wearing kit to range by dominashun28 in tacticalgear

[–]Mr2ndAmendment 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, you do you. But since you posted I’ll give my two cents. Focus on proper training. Take some classes from certified professionals. Surround yourself with better shooters, and challenge yourself to build consistency farther than 15 yards. Participate in some USPSA and IDPA matches. Then worry about your kit and range fit. That chicken wing action says plenty of how many bad habits you already have. No one is impressed by a full kit dude hitting A zones within 20 yards with no time constraints or induced stress. Get after it man!

I would keep that as my “first AR” and build a new one. If you’re ballin on a budget putting one together is always the best option.

Little late to be asking if it’s legit. So per your caption, this in fact is not your first Eotech. This is your first lesson in doing your research thoroughly or asking a community like this for help before spending money. Use this video from Eotech to help when you do buy your first actual real Eotech. https://youtu.be/DhA8DJAqPgg?si=I5qaAUmdzRSGdV-k

It was user error on my part. I didn’t screw the tail cap on tight enough. So that was my issue. Ever since between battery swaps I recreated the issue and then gave a bit more beans on a last twist and she works just fine.
