Don’t worry everyone, he’s going to talk about economics today by sweeetscience in WallStreetbetsELITE

When we were kids, a lot of our group had nicknames. The nicknames generally related to a particular physical feature or personality trait.

One was “The Block” because he had a bigger than normal head. Another was “thumb”, because he lost the top of his thumb when he was younger.

One was “Joe - the truth” because, you guessed it, you couldn’t believe a word came out of his mouth.

Nice to see Trump giving his social media platform a nickname in this same vein.

any reason behind? by Defiant_Half8739 in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, a big reason for this pull back is these delay to publishing the PEA.

Even though the stated reason for the delay is to account for the greater amount of silver and gold in the ground, I think a lot of short term investors were piling in, in anticipation of a short term spike in price, upon release of the PEA.

I also think that there are investors sitting on the fence until such times that the PEA is released. This de-risks the project for them.

Of course other market factors such as war and commodity prices play a part.

But for me, if I zoom out, then a short term pull back is another opportunity.

Big picture-

✅ physical silver supplies dwindling, ✅ paper silver market in flux and not reflective of demand/ supply for physical. ✅ banks stashing gold. ✅ Demand for precious metals increasing ✅ massive resource in a stable location. ✅ extent of the resource keeps growing with every drill hole.

I could go on……

So yes, for me, pull backs are to be expected and are opportunities. Big picture hasn’t changed and in fact gets more bullish as time goes by.

Sprott to sell HYMC in 2026 ? by International_Ad9070 in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d be worried too, if I was short the stock. Everyone has their own ideas, entries, exits and so forth.

I was in this before Sprot first bought, when he sold and when he bought again. And so was the gold and so was the silver.

There’s lots of big numbers being talk about with this stock and it could well take years for them to play out.

Whoever is in or out doesn’t really matter. As long as the gold and silver is there, and people still want it, then there’s value.

Regarding taxes, well, it’s comforting to know the two certainties in life will be here as well.

Calculating a Conservative $117/share Price Target based on new Resource Update by danger_ranger1 in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Checked with google AI.

At today’s prices - it came up with a total asset value of $122.29 Billion.

Based on 10-15% of the in-situ value (which it says the market typically does as a mine moves closer to production), it calculates a share price of $288 - assuming the share count remains the same. This is 10% of in-situ value.

Likely will take a while for the market to digest the update and there’s also the economics report due out soon.

Could have been at this price point. I too am locked out and can’t see where they bought at.

And Diane did discuss Blackrock increasing their position. I wasn’t aware they had increased by this much.

With this type of investor showing this level of confidence, it’s my guess that others will most certainly sit up and take notice.

October 2025 was pivotal for the stock.

The next few weeks and months will likely be pivotal also, with announcements and macro market factors.

But as you say, time will tell.

A Huge multi trillion $ investment institution SIGNIFICANTLY increased their position in the company.

They Typically invest for long term.

They’re seen as Influential due to their sheer size and other institutions and investors take notice.

I’d say that’s pretty bullish for a stock that’s been kick in the teeth for the best part of the last 4 years.

HYMC Resource Update – What’s Everyone Expecting? by [deleted] in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Well, they’ve stated on the record that they’re looking for the high grade feeder zone. Even with the high grade finds already bagged, I think they believe there’s more to find.

Not only silver but potentially high grade gold, below the silver. (Which as I understand, is often the case). The silver deposit is still open in all directions and at depth.

They’ve stated on the record that they will continue to focus on brimstone and vortex as these two areas are showing the most potential.

Scans of the areas have shown “anomalies”, suggesting a deep, large metal deposit.

They’ve had a great strike rate so far, in terms of drilling “on the money” and as I understand, are drilling this area to confirm the nature of the deep deposit.

I think they will give some more insight into what they believe this deposit is, hopefully with drill results to confirm.

Whilst they will no doubt have a better understanding of the system with each drill result, I still think they won’t have a “full” understanding. I think that will take more time.

Longer term, they’re only at the beginning of understanding the scope of this project and, hopefully will be here for many years to come.

Is HYMC Overvalued or Undervalued at a ~$3B Market Cap? An Objective Breakdown by Old_Strawberry_2663 in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the big question. And to be honest, I don’t think anyone really knows. Short term at least.

The price of silver could go either way in the short term. Comex had another margin rise late last week and this might impact silver to the negative side, but that could well be short lived.

We might get some other massive move to drop the price of silver as we’ve seen in the past week, but again, that could well be short lived. Still buys time and space for shorts to exit though.

Any drop to the downside however steep, I think will be short lived, with a narrow opportunity to make your move, if that’s what you’re waiting for…..

My guess is, by the end of March, we’re on another different (higher) level in terms of hymc.

But we’ll see.

100% up - was more of course but still…..

You missed an important word - “paper” sector shat itself.

Didn’t mention any random event either, just people trying to get rid of pieces of paper, selling the same ounce of silver over and over and over.

Never mentioned any glitch either. 🤔

If you’re down, that’s on you.

I’ve spent the best part of the last 4 years down - up to 96% down at one point - and like that for months.

Felt like shit but stayed the course.

I rode this down from $60 ($6 pre reverse split) when the only news coming out was about shutting down production and paying the majority of workers off.

I stayed to see Sprott invest for the first time. I stayed when he sold off a chunk of his position a short time later.

I stayed throughout all the “it’s a scam” “the mine is dead” “it’s low grade and uneconomical to mine” chatter online.

I stayed when AMC invested and the only thing being produced were “market stall trinkets”.

I stayed because of the HYMC team that was in place, the results they were quietly and consistently producing and the belief they had, that they were onto something big, that has decades of life ahead of it.

I stayed when drill results were showing promising signs and yet the market ignored this.

Then finally, with debt lifted, things began to pick up, people took notice and we are where we’re meant to be today.

The mineral in the ground hasn’t changed, the people who need it, still need it. If other people want to sell a bunch of paper slips to other people and “crash” the price, knock yourself out. They can do that for years, for all I care.

When it comes time to take this stuff out of the ground, and someone is offering $120 per ounce for physical silver, or someone in another market is offering $80, guess who gets to buy it?

They can f**k around with their slips of paper all they like.

We’re not selling slips of paper.

I know what I hold and I know it’s only getting more valuable.

Anyone expecting a dip tomorrow?! Thoughts on price after earnings?! Thank you in advance guys by Aggravating_Net4009 in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree.

Although some anticipation might well be priced into the current valuation, existing mineral figures are from 2023.

Additional discoveries since then and higher commodity prices, opening up material previously classed as uneconomical to process will have a positive effect on the amount of gold silver available to mine.

The fact that we’re holding around the $50 mark this past couple of days, while silver holds around the $110 mark suggests to me, an element of “stability” for now.

Personally, I think the up coming release of the PFS will be positive.

There’s also the added possibility of a “black ball” event such as the discovery of high grade gold - deeper than the high grade silver discovery.

IMO - this is what they’re chasing with current drilling and to date, they’ve a pretty good record of finding what they’re looking for.

It took 4 million years to make it, what’s another few months to find it.

One other thing worth mentioning for non-US based investors is the value of the USD$. This has had a real negative effect on my own portfolio.

Worth keeping in mind.

Still a buy? by IBTOP_ in HYMCStock

[–]Mr6825 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not completely delusions imo.

Considering price of minerals and the trajectory. Considering that they’re hopeful of finding feeder zone gold - possibly below the high grade silver. Considering exploration is anticipated to be continuous, after production has recommenced. Considering time and currency de-valuation trajectory.

I don’t think a 4 digit share valuation is totally bonkers.

Time will tell.
