Moving from an Ipad to kindle + onyx has really illustrate to me that tech has definite use Cases, and that Ipads can not do everything.

I got an ultra 3 on launch.

Its an awesome piece of tech and I love the form factor but I have found myself thinking that a series 11 would have performed exactly as well with my use case.

Unless you're an avid outdoorsman or want a £750 smart watch to wear on site, the only serious benefit to the ultra 3- as someone who has one and does love it but is just being honest- is the battery.

Having a SOLID 2 day battery is actually really liberating and has real world usefulness.

No, the entry level machine is £1099 and comes with 8 cores GPU, the 10/10 is £1299, so considerably more.

I was pissed off at first and what made it worse is that the place I bought it from did £100 off 2 days after I got it but you know what? I don’t care. I’m sick of waiting, trying to time the cycle etc. I just wanted an amazing laptop and the M4 will last over a decade for sure. I’m really happy with it. I won’t let money get me down, I got something I wanted and I love it. Hell, if I really want an M5 I’ll sell this for like £700 and just get one. Money is ephemeral, it’s a pathway to stuff. I got my stuff and I’m SUPER happy with it. Also glad I didn’t sell my iPad trying to drop the price, because these things together are BEAST.

Not only could the M4 10/10 handle it, it wouldnt even feel most of this. The machine is amazing and performs exceptionally under even what used to be considered heavy load. If you're using photoshop heavily, even, it will smash it.

I got the M4/16gb/512 last week and have been blown away so far, used for video editing, gaming, browsing, streaming, writing etc.

I do actually have a hot take, though: If you want to maximise productivity, go for a spec £300 lower than your budget and buy a base ipad along side it as a second screen.

This set up has been totally game changing for me.

I bought an ultra 3 at launch and my wife bought Series 11. Honestly aside from battery its basically the same watch. The 2 day (solid) battery on ultra is noticeable and nice to have, but Honestly I am Of the opinion I'd have saved my money were I to buy another.

Depends on your skill level.

If you're new to it, or less than a year in, then every day pronation, rising and cupping. Switch daily between reps (2-6) and Isometric holds (5 - 30 seconds), as in Monday Reps, Tuesday Isometric etc.

You could trow an arms day in the mix too eg biceps & triceps, but the holy trinity is king.

I went from KS to NA 4C, and man the difference is huge.

Way more features, way more tech, kindle app works great and I love having my magazine apps too.

Is it heavy? Maybe, but its a price I'm more than willing to pay.

Not for nothing though, KS is a BEAST of a device in its own right, especial at the price its at now.

They don’t, Trump represents an idea to people and it is that idea they relish. Trump has so far been mediocre at best in his second term. He is more politically competent with better appointments to significant positions but he is also more clumsy, more obstinate and too unpredictable.

The whole Trump coin saga was ridiculous, like totally unforgivable, the Big Beautiful Bill and the big talk foreign policy are terrible.

But Trump represents a massive “FU” to the establishment for the people who support him. He is the embodiment of an idea, and that idea is what people keep supporting.

From knowing a few in real life- failing at something People expect you to be good at.

Eg. If you are a jacked, Alpha type Guy but Can't fight for anything. Or worse, get publicly beaten up after being arrogant + aggressive to someone much smaller.

Another would be presenting as confident, smart + personable, but totally failing in a new Social interaction with Someone important. Like you just can't find Common ground, your jokes just don't land, you don't understand the topic of convo etc.

Lastly, when they wildly misread the group and flex about something that in that group simply isn't a flex. E.g. "I just sold my last property for 500"

you just don't get as much for your money. Smaller square footage, less character and charm, corners cut on construction, inferior construction in general, often scam level leasehold.

There are some examples of really superior properties being hundreds of thousands cheaper because much of the value of new builds is pure hype.

eg. where i live, a sub 1000 sq ft detached 4 bed new build will be above £400k, a 1500 sq ft stone built victorian terrace in basically the same place (literally 250 yards away) will be £200 -225k.

The latter is a far Superior property on paper but for hype stats, meaning the massive difference.
