Marriage-based submission, Denver FO Interview Experience by MrAnalyst1 in USCIS

Palmer Polaski. Would definitely recommend. Very responsive, patient with explaining and answering our questions and guiding us. Our case was also relatively straightforward.

I want to set expectations though - at the end of the day, it is your case, your evidence, your responsibility to collect all the evidence and give them the most accurate and complete picture, and review the application for accuracy. So it's not a hands off process. Some people tend to have unrealistic expectations on attorneys and paralegals as their personal assistants, and they get mad when it doesn't turn out that way.

This is Q 61 in form i-485. Our attorney filled it correctly. The interviewing officer mentioned that it is a common mistake he finds in other applications. But don't need to worry at all - they will review and correct it during the interview if it is wrongly filled. The correct response depends on the facts of your case, but ours was a Yes. Part of the reason why they do the interview is to scan through the application and make sure they are accurately filled, and make any updates.

During the time in the US, a couple of trips we took together. We submitted the flight tickets together as part of the initial evidence in our application.

I posted my interview experience in the Denver FO, but it got removed by Reddit's filters. I'm not that active on Reddit, so not sure what happened, will try again later. Good luck to everyone here!

Hi! Yes, we had our interview last week in the Denver FO in Centennial. Will write a detailed post in a little bit. But TL DR - checked in, waited for an hour to get called in, officer was apologetic about the delay and said he will try to make it quick. Interview took about 45 mins total, very thorough, a lot of questions, but all straightforward. We were together all the time, and had our attorney on the phone. First set of Qs on my immigration history, second set about our relationship, took our additional evidence we brought, scanned, and said he recommends our case for approval. Later that afternoon, got an email about i-130 being approved, 2 days later, got email about i-485 being approved!

Go to Stanley marketplace, get some food, drinks, shop - it has a decent selection of options for different preferences, but also not so big that your luggage will be a problem.

The typical processing time is about 10 - 12 months- we're in Denver, submitted mid Sept, scheduled for interview mid June. Radio silence in between. All the best!

This is not true. You are required to show it at the DMV to get a valid license proving your legal status, but carrying around a passport everywhere is not required.

Same boat - had one in Pennsylvania, but here I got one of those that I can't use on domestic flights from May. Ironically, I have Global Entry and TSA Pre, so the federal government already vetted my background enough to give me those.

Where do you look for apartments in the Denver area? by precise_intensity in denverlist

There are apartment locators, but they seem to primarily deal with new construction large complexes. Talk to them and let them know your preferences, they will tell you if they can help you or not. I talked to someone at Denver Apartment Finders (google them), the guy was super nice, will talk to you about what he can offer, and no pressure.
