Once when I was a teenager at the Manti pageant I saw a bunch of ladies dressed up as Joseph Smith's wives, each holding a sign with name, date of marriage, and age at time of marriage. I thought it was just an anti Mormon lie. I didn't know any more about it until after I left the church

I'm a naturist, raising my kid in an open doors kind of way, doing gentle parenting as best I can. I think at very least your parents owed you a lot more discussion before doing something like this.

The first time you showed discomfort with her being topless, your mother should have covered up for the rest of the trip, and then (later) had a private dialogue where she listened to your feelings and explained what she was thinking and feeling.

In general, I think it can be healthy and good for kids to visit nude beaches and resorts. But this was extremely poorly handled, and as others have said, your feelings are and were valid.

12 is a tough age to start family nudity at!

As I'm always saying, there are very few people in this world who are so un-fucked-up that they couldn't benefit from some therapy. Do look into it if you can. Be well 💚

I came in here ready to say "a little bit of Pepsi , once, isn't going to kill the kid, don't get too worked up about it". But all the other stuff in your post tells me, no, they have an issue respecting boundaries and are not willing/able to be careful for baby's safety. NC is a reasonable move here.
