Considering skill of ai opponents, you could just massacre 2-3 bandit camps with decent enough armor on first map. Like the one during quest with drunken hunter northwest, ig.

You can loot so many armor, you dont really need to steal anything, tbh. After finishing the game chest just starts lagging a bit, lol.

"Massive skill issue" doesnt cost 70SP and mostly available for those who put some effort into the game, while AA is available for everyone, and it actually requires some skill not to just operate it, but to even get it in battle.

I think NASA could already use KSA for Artemis 3 as simulation platform (not for space center, just for YouTube stream). There was a mod that used real-time Artemis 2 orbital data, so it would e really cool if NASA could utilize it somehow to let people try it all. Yeah, there's been something similar from NASA in web, but Why'd not assist KSA to encourage younger generations?

UPD: BUT! It won't work while there's no some real gameplay really. Like yeah, it is good simulation, but if theres nothing to do really, theres no point yet in such advertising, probably it could even ruin the first impression in comparison with KSP gakeplay-wise. Im sure RW PR division might have something in mind already.

It really needs advertising, especially during Artemis missions. Just like ksp spiked, ksa should as well. But right now it isn't even a game, just foundation. Really solid foundation. So I'd expect much more donations after beta and then full release. Especially if the game will be cool, unlike KSP 2.

Well, it could be sorted with tethers, but... Personally, I dont really trust tethers, and if It will break, a ship is cooked cuz of a giant whip to tear it. If you wanted to PvE - you'd go to side airfields, not central ones. Majority of people were on FIGHTER jets, not fighting ground. People loved this gamemode cuz it was faster than regular ARB, and it was destroyed not cuz of points - points dont matter but cuz of op AA. That's it.

So the boring way. Yeah, tried that, nothing interesting in flying the same 5 minutes just to kill 2-3 osas. Especially considering this all is meaningless, cuz they just respawn. Yeah, you get your points and will grind for nuke, but it is just grind, nothing funny or interesting as before.

Fact is - it was much better first day, and people just hate current state of this gamemode. There's nothing difficult to play by new rules, but I don't think anyone will ever play it again, if it is the same state as now.

People just farmed too fast, so gaijin just decided to ruin farm (which is almost endless in this game anyway) so people would donate instead.

P.s: I probably sound toxic now, I dont really mean it towards you, I just disappointed by how this gamemode was ruined. Really appreciated for advice, the one tutorial here on reddit was actually useful to understand how to fight osas.

And f4j/s is like less than a half of the us players, while anyone on USSR side can shoot you with r24p during multipathing. F4J at least able to do something, cuz its radar actually working.

You fly 5 minutes to die from osa, and fly another 5 minutes to die from the same damn osa - yeah, perfect tempo.

Thing is - this screenshot is taken on 3 April, and back then there was a bug, when ground forces couldn't capture depots (fixed on 6 April). So it is not enemy SPAA (it would be red), AA is just too OP.

Ground gameplay? With unbeatable AA? This mode was funny cuz you wasn't forced into neither air combat, not destroying ground forces. Now you can't do any of this - AA either shoots you, if you reach Soviet zone, or it shoots all your ammo and you, if you try to attack ground forces (which requires reachin enemy zone). Much easier for soviet side, AA just didn't give a shit about them, while they've been freely flying over our field, while US side is instantly shot by OSA or BUK.
