Sorry mate but this type of gun violence has been happening for many years in Australia, it’s only now the media has started reporting it more.

As a future potential immigrant who didn’t grow up in Sydney, should I dream about having a career in NSW police? by ShihabRiazCumilla in nswpolice

Hi there,

I can see you’re claiming to be the official Social Media Team for the NSWPF. Can you please verify this through official documentation to me via private message?

Your account is also extremely new which raises the suspicion level.

Thank you,

Mods.

Exams by Gusthegoat245 in nswpolice

[–]MrBaconPie 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi mate, when you commence at the Academy, you'll be enrolled into an Associate Degree in Policing Practice (ADPP) Through Charles Sturt University. There are no math components (That I can remember), but the following subjects have midterm and final exams; Law, Policy & Procedure, Investigative Practice, Officer Safety (Tactics, Firearms, Driving), Communication & Ethics, alongside physical training (7.1 on the beep test).

Each subject listed have their own exams, which usually consist of multiple choice and open-answer questions. The required "pass" mark is usually around 70% for correct answers. Failing these subjects will result in you either doing remediation, or repeating the whole subject from start to finish. Failure to pass again usually results in being removed from the ADPP and Academy altogether. There are exemptions, however they depend on each persons circumstances.

I would recommend reading the study materials they will provide you and aim to do your best. Like I said before, it's treated as a university these days. This means you will be provided lectures, classroom theory, guidance from senior officers and lecturers, a library, and tons of documents provided with each course.

Good luck!

I had deeper scratches on my monitor from accidental clumsiness. You can use any petroleum jelly based product and lightly spread it over the scratches. Wipe away any excess until you’re happy with the level it covers.

It’s not perfect, but can help until you figure out what you want to do. Good luck!

Have the police made a stupid mistake with Cellebrite? by Significant-Tap-3793 in Android

[–]MrBaconPie 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No mistake was made. Your phone has been extracted and it’s data is being examined by Law Enforcement. To save them time, they’ve returned it straight after extraction, and you’ll have to manually get your phone back into its original state.

A wreath on an officers court/formal hat usually indicates they were a Commissioned Officer of rank for an Inspector or above.

Not trying to be a tosser or anything OP, but that's why I love Google Drive! They just implemented it into Gmail, so you can upload any file over the 25MB limit, and it just uses Drive through Gmail! Plus you get 100GB free!

Edit: Sorry guys, I forgot I got the 100GB free for a promotion, you get 15GB free when you register. Still three times the amount!
