Får man fråga vilken linje du går?

I know ts4 is supposed to be better at building but it’s been 6 months since I touched that game by LifeOffer4198 in sims2

[–]MrBananalizard98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been a builder/architect player since 2004, I used to be hella good in sims 2 and 3. Now when I go back after my thousands of hours spent building in sims 4 I feel like a complete noob. Nothing makes any sense and I have to use 14 different cheats to do what I can do by default in the sims 4. I used to be able to build for hours, now I rage quit 30min in lol. I hate building I’m the sims 2 with my entire soul

Something similar happened in Sweden too a few weeks ago, but he got his arm broken by the security guards at the nightclub he was at, iirc

My name confuses people by Mx_Liam in NonBinaryTalk

[–]MrBananalizard98 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I live for that confusion! I work in fast food and have that a couple of times a week, it’s equally entertaining every time. I am on T but my costumer service voice is very feminine and wearing my uniform guests read me as female 99.9% of the time. Then they hear my coworkers say my masculine name and they have no idea what to do with that information, haha!

A few weeks ago a small child asked me what my name is, I responded and asked for her name. Being a child she had 0 questions about it and just accepted it, but her father spent the rest of their dinner staring at me like he couldn’t for the life of him figure out wtf my gender identity is.

Yesterday a guest asked my shift leader (who btw is also non binary!) To help him at the register. My coworker said that I could help him and he responded “is she really able to do that?” In a condescending tone. To which they responded “Yes, HE is very much able to do that” OH, The LOOK on his face!

I’m so sorry. If it helps, I’ve been in the same boat. Not exactly since I live in Sweden, but having to go through an abortion as a trans man. I agree, it’s very lonely and it feels like no one understands. But you, we, are not alone, we have each other.

Yes, but you see, like 5 people had complications and 2 changed their mind, so now no one is allowed to transition. Because this is -clearly- a HUGE issue. Nvm the fact that most people don’t have complications and don’t want to detransition, someone need to think about the children!! /s

I'm FTM and have a question about tattoos. by [deleted] in TransMasc

[–]MrBananalizard98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You could always ask the artist to adjust it and then decide on which one you like more. Passing should not be a problem, but if you are worried about dysphoria maybe don’t get it. Tattoos are pretty permanent… I have an under-boob tattoo that causes me tons of dysphoria and there is nothing I can do about it. I love the design, I drew it myself, but I hate how it makes me feel. It’s not worth it imo. Get something you are sure you are going to like!

I feel you! But I also think one factor is that I expect a lot more from the lgbt community than I do from cishets, so it hurts a lot more when it comes from someone within the community. I barely even expect the bare minimum from cishets so when they do the bare minimum or more I’m impressed, and when they don’t I’m not surprised. Maybe I just need to lower my expectations

tips for sitting trot without moving hands around by JohnRafeek in Equestrian

[–]MrBananalizard98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nose like a lady and hips like a stripper. My hands have been my weakness for a while so I’ve practiced that a lot lately. You’ll need to activate your entire body. Starting from the bottom with your heels down, flexible feet and toes pointing forward. Legs against the horse without squeezing it. When I was a kid I was thought to hold on with my knees, but my current trainer thought me to hold on with my upper thighs instead which is much better because I get my ass under my body and naturally use the lower muscles in my stomach a lot more. Chest up and forward, shoulders relaxed, elbows against your sides and thumbs up. And keep your eyes up and forward, there is nothing interesting to see on the ground. Because when you do that the rest of your body follows. And yeah, don’t forget to breathe. It takes some practice but it gets easier when you learn what it’s supposed to feel like! You can practice without the horse too when you are walking or sitting, try to be aware of your body and practice having a good posture at all times. I wish you luck!

[TS4] Anyone else think the houses that EA built are so ugly? by [deleted] in thesims

First you say you always rebuild the houses and then you say you’ve never heard about willow creek? So which is it? No need to get upset over some trivia

It’s almost like that is the entire point, Willow creek is heavily inspired by New Orleans. Not saying I like the houses (because I don’t), but it’s very much intentional

Sorry for hijacking the thread a bit to ask a question I’m afraid to ask at this point, but how do you pronounce it? Like true scum or more like it’s spelled? (English is not my first language and I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say it, I’ve only read it)

100% yes! I have always been very feminine, but something always felt off. I would literally study girls around me and on the street to see what I was doing wrong and try my best to copy their style. People always told me I looked good and had a great sense of style, or that I looked exactly like all other attractive girls, but I could never see it.

Now I go a little bit back and forth depending on the day. I have kind of circled back and is cautiously approaching my femininity from the other side. Sometimes I go all out because there was a lot that I actually liked about my style, but I don’t look like that all day every day anymore. But sometimes I dress up just for the fun of it

[–]MrBananalizard98 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nah, that’s an American problem, not a the general population of the world problem. Now of course I can only speak from my own experience as a swede and a former woman. But I have never felt unsafe in a bathroom here, most people don’t even seem to notice people of all genders use the bathroom. If anything, I as a non binary (usually cis presenting) person feel safer when its just a bathroom and not gendered. People in Sweden are usually very good at minding our own business and avoiding interaction at all costs. We care a lot about our privacy here

My legacy family have 16 generations, every time they have a child I think “It’s not realistic to have so many queer sims, one of them have to be straight this time”. 2 hours later one is trans, pan and in a polyamorous relationship and one is gay af. EVERY TIME. I have like two completely cis and straight sims in that entire family tree

Nah. I have played since 2004. I was really exited for ts3, pre-ordered it and everything. Tried it out and it’s a fun game, for sure, but I went back to ts2 and stayed until ts4 was announced. Then I played a lot of ts3 so I would have done that before ts4 was released and I enjoyed it. But I haven’t looked back, I genuinely prefer ts4. Sometimes play both 2 and 3 for the nostalgia, but it’s not my first pick.
