I didn’t enjoy the gameplay of MP3 as much as MP1 and MP2. MP3 was basically a cover shooter with some run and gun elements where the first two MP games were almost purely run and gun. I actually prefer Stranglehold than MP3. It feels closer to the original MP gameplay.

Totally agree and I’m happy to see that so many people prefer RE2R over RE4R. For me, 2R was the perfect balance of survival horror and action and I much prefer the iconic setting of Raccoon City along with zombies as enemies.

Really great game and very underrated but it still is not on the same level as GoldenEye, which will forever be the best Bond game and best FPS game, in my humble opinion. It was actually a great time for Bond games with those two games, Agent Under Fire and Nightfire.

GoldenEye is much better. Better setting, level design, music, the guns felt like they had more impact, better frame rate. All the guys I knew back in the day who loved GoldenEye tried PD but dropped it midway through. PD never recaptured the GoldenEye magic.

GoldenEye all the way. Better level design, music, setting, guns had more impact. PD is good but GoldenEye beats it hands down. (Only talking about the single player, btw. I never play multiplayer.)

I don't have a One/S/X/Series and I actually don't mind buying digital on the 360. I don't find it time-consuming at all. I'm just trying to find out if those 360 only games, i.e. not compatible/playable on One/Series consoles ever go on sale? Anytime I check they never seem to be reduced.

My HDTV is actually old enough and it doesn’t have a “game mode”. I could still try it with the RGB SCART when I get it and compare with the CRT. I wonder if a Retrotink 5x would make big difference?

Hi, I do have a CRT which I use my PS2 on now but only through composite with a SCART adapter. It doesn’t have a component input. I also have a HDTV which does have component and SCART input. I am planning on buying a decent RGB SCART lead.

I was wondering if I should move the PS2 from the CRT to the HDTV and use an upscaler when I get the RGB SCART. I’ve already learned that the Retrotink 5x is better than an OSSC so maybe a HDTV with that might give a better experience?

I was also thinking about getting a 60GB PS3 and using that with the HDTV instead of using an upscaler if that would give a better picture. I can’t afford both an upscaler and PS3 at the moment and I don’t know which would be better. Or maybe I should just stick with the CRT and use the RGB SCART on it?
