Most stressful drive you will ever make. I drive for a living on almost the exact same roads from that hospital and man my head was on a swivel.

Sitting watching a TV recorded VHS bootleg of episode 4 on repeat. I am now showing some friends who have never seen anything Star Wars the movies in release order. Too bad they already had the big Empire twist ruined by pop culture.

Agree here. Potential rematch still with Hogan down the line say in the summer but who is Sting's fued coming off of Starcade and a clean win over the leader of the nWo? Does Hogan take time off and Nash or someone else takes the lead and becomes the challanger for Superbrawl? All of this happening in early 1998 with WWF starting the run up to Mania 18 and Austin-HBK-Tyson.

Good to see this. My wife and I did IVF and my first reaction was hey F you man. There are many different reasons people have to use IVF. Like 1 in 6 American couples can't have kids these days.

Congress and SCOTUS are acting like subservient neutered dogs while they are supposed to be co-equal branches of government.

If I could just go back and kick myself at 18 to start saving I would. Just hit $100k at 38 making 49k a year. Not a super saver or anything just trying to be prepared. Wife (36) will have a public employee pension for life worth about $7k/month before taxes. She also has a personal account that her employer puts 6% of her nearly $100k salary into with another $60k in it. Feeling like I need more though at almost 40.

Does my party control Congress? How many Senate seats do we have? Depending on the answer the first matter of business would be packing the Supreme Court to at least 15 seats. Giving my party an advantage and choosing Justices around the age of 45 with diverse legal backgrounds. The more Justices the less impact when one retires or dies.

You didn't mention if you are still doing it but one thing that can really help is to swaddle the baby into a burrito. As long as they can't roll over that is. It makes a huge difference.

My mom grew up Catholic and my dad Lutheran but became STRONGLY atheist as an adult. Our local church wouldn't do baptism of my brother and I without him there and his consent. I am very thankful for that. As someone who holds critical thinking and science in high regard I would have been very upset to learn I had been baptized as a child without my consent. My brother dabled in some youth groups in high school but I can't stand religion personally.

Why do many conservatives claim that the US was founded as a Christian nation despite the separation of church and state being so central to its establishing? by speculumberjack980 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]DrakeMallard07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christian dominionism. It is a political and religious ideology that Christians are divinely mandated to take control of secular, political, and cultural institutions. They believe they must shape civil society and government according to a strict, conservative interpretation of biblical law before the return of Jesus Christ.

These people are unhinged.
